Vivo S17 & Vivo S17t Released | The Budget Pair 

Vivo has thought well of the budget category buyers and released the Vivo S17 and Vivo S17t. The phones might have a lower price tag but still come with some of the best specifications you can get. The S17 has a better Snapdragon 778G+ chipset and a Samsung GN5 camera on the back. On the other hand, the S17t comes with Dimensity 8050 and Sony IMX766 on the rear back camera. Other than that, all the specifications are identical. The phone comes with RAM options of 8GB, memory options up to 512GB, a battery size of 4600mAh, and much more.

Display & Appearance

The Vivo S17 device features a 6.78 inches OLED hyperbolic screen with a resolution of 2800×1260.  It has a 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. The manual maximum brightness is 600nit, global excitation brightness of 1000nit, and local peak brightness of 1300nit. The device comes with a 1 billion color vision.

It has a thickness of 7.46mm and weighs around 186g. The device comes with Bluetooth 5.2 and WiFi 6 for added connectivity. Out of the box, it runs on OriginOS 3 system, based on Android 13. The color options are

Processor & Storage

The processor of the Vivo S17 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ chipset. In contrast, the Vivo S17t comes with Dimensity 8050 processing chipset. The RAM options for the phones are 8GB and 12 GB. As for memory storage, users can choose between 256GB and 512 GB.

Camera

The front camera of the Vivo S17 is 50MP (Samsung S5KJN1 with 1 / 2.76 inches sensor size). On the rear side, it comes with a 50MP lens (Samsung S5KGN5 with 1/1.56 inches sensor size and OIS), and 8MP (Sony IMX355 with 1/4 inch sensor size). Both the cameras on the front and back come with dual and rear soft lights.

Battery

The Vivo S17 comes with a 4600mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. It can charge the phone to 70% in just 30 minutes.

Price & Availability

The Vivo S17 and Vivo S17 t have been officially released in China and will soon be available worldwide. The prices of the S17 are out, whereas the S17 T is still waiting for a price tag.

Vivo S17 vs Vivo S17t

There are two differences between the phones. One if of the processor, S17, comes with Snapdragon 778G+, and the S17t comes with Dimensity 8050. Moreover, the S17 comes with Samsung GN5 primary rear camera, and the S17 T comes with Sony IMX677 main rear camera.
