Vivo X100 Ultra debuts with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chipset

Vivo X100 Ultra is the ultimate phone in the series for consumers who want the best-performing device and are willing to pay extra money. It will be released on May 29th for consumers. The phone will come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform, up to 16GB RAM, maximum storage of 1TB, a 6.78-inch OLED hyperbolic screen with 3200 x 1440 resolution, a 50MP front camera, triple cameras on the back, 5500mAh battery which supports 80W fast charging and much more.

The Vivo X100 Ultra will get its processing power from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform. It will have self-developed chip V3 and 3D VC icefield cooling to keep the device cool. The phone will have LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 flash for faster data transfer rates. 

It will have RAM options of 12GB and 16 GB. The phone will have device storage options of 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.

Display & Appearance

The Vivo X100 Ultra will feature a 6.78-inch OLED hyperbolic screen with a resolution of 3200 x 1440. It will have a 120Hz refresh rate (LTPO adaptive refresh rate), 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and will be made of Samsung E7 luminescent. The screen will have a manual maximum brightness of 600nits, global excitation brightness of 1600nits and local excitation brightness of 3000nits.

It will have a thickness of 9.23mm, weighs around 229g, and supports NFC, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, infrared remote control and 3D ultrasonic single-point fingerprint. The phone supports USB3.2 Gen 1 5Gbps, IP68, IP69 dustproof and waterproof rating and is equipped with OriginOS 4 system. It will come in various colour options for users to choose from

Cameras of the Vivo X100 Ultra

The front camera of the Vivo X100 Ultra is 50MP (Samsung S5KJN1) for optimal selfies and videos. On the rear side, the device will feature one of the most powerful camera setups. The primary lens will be 50MP (Sony LYT-900) with a 1-inch sensor size and CIPA 4.5 SLR level image stabilization. It has other lenses of 50MP ultra-wide angle (Samsung S5KJN1) and 200MP periscope telephoto lens (Samsung S5KHP9) with 1/1.4 inch sensor size and CIPA 4.5 SLR-level image stabilization. The camera setup will support a laser focus camera, dToF, new generation Zeiss T* optical lens and new street photography mode.

The battery capacity of the Vivo X100 Ultra will be 5500mAh which will support 80W fast charging.
