Vivo X100s is released with MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ Chip

Vivo X100s is the entry phone in the series, but this doesn’t mean the device is any less of a great performer. The device comes with MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset, up to 16GB RAM, maximum storage of 1TB, a 6.78-inch OLED hyperbolic screen with a resolution of 2800 x 1260, 32MP front camera, triple cameras on the back, a 5100mAh battery which supports 100W fast charging and much more.

Display & Appearance

The Vivo X100s features a 6.78-inch OLED hyperbolic screen with a resolution of 2800 x 1260. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate (1-120Hz 8T LTPO) and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming for a smoother user experience. The screen supports local peak brightness of 3000nits and customised night owl eye protection based on Dimensity chip hardware.

Vivo X100s

It has a thickness of 7.8mm and weighs around 203g. The phone supports X-axis linear motor, NFC, infrared remote control, dual stereo speakers, supports IP69 rating, Blue Heart AI recorder and is equipped with OriginOS 4 system.

Processor & Storage of the Vivo X100s

The Vivo X100s is one of the earliest devices to come with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ mobile processing platform. Its processor has an ultra-large core with an increased frequency of 3.4Ghz and generative AI capabilities are improved. The phone comes with LPDDR5x memory and UFS 4.0 flash memory for faster data transfer rates.

It has RAM options of 12GB and 16 GB. The device has storage options of 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.

Camera

The front camera of the Vivo X100s is 32MP (Samsung S5KGD2). On the rear side, it has triple cameras for optimal photos and videos. The primary lens is 50MP (Sony IMX920) with VC bionic spectrum technology and OIS. It has other lenses of 50MP ultra-wide angle (Samsung S5KJN1) AND a 64MP periscope telephoto lens (OmniVision OV64B) with OIS. The camera module also supports laser focus dTOF, Zeiss T* optical lens and a new street photography mode.

The battery capacity of the Vivo X100s is 5100mAh which supports 100W fast charging. It can charge the phone to 50% in just 11 minutes and 100% in just 29 minutes.

Price & Availability

The Vivo X100s has been officially released in China and will soon be available in other parts of the world. It has various variants for users to choose from

  • 16 + 256GB is priced at 4,399 yuan ($608)
  • 16 + 1TB is priced at 5,199 yuan ($718)
