Vivo Y100 debuts with Snapragon 695 chipset, 5000mAh battery and much more

Vivo has released their latest affordable smartphone, Vivo Y100, a device that will provide decent performance while being light on consumer’s pockets. The device comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 mobile processor, a maximum of 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, a 6.78 inch OLED curved screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080, an 8MP front camera, dual cameras on the back, a 5000mAh battery and much more.

The Vivo Y100 comes with a stunning 6.78-inch OLED curved screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080. It supports a 120Hz adaptive variable speed high brush that provides a smooth experience while saving battery. The screen has a maximum screen brightness of 500nit, global excitation brightness of 1000nit, and a local peak brightness of 1300nit making it visible even in bright outdoors. It has 100% P3, NTSC color gamut, and passed SGS low flicker certification. 

The Starry Night Black version is 7.49mm thick and weighs around 172g. Whereas, the glass version has a thickness of 7.57mm and weighs around 183g. It has a 2.37mm thick chin, 3D glass back cover, supports IP54 dustproof and waterproof, and runs on Origin OS 3 system (Android 13). The phone comes in the following colors and variants

The Vivo Y100 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 mobile processor for decent performance. It has RAM options of 8GB and 12 GB. As for device storage, the phone comes with options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512 GB. 

Cameras of the Vivo Y100

The front camera of the Vivo Y100 is 8MP. On the rear side, it has dual cameras of 64MP (1/2 inches, Howe OV64B and OIS) and 2MP (GC02M1B) depth of field camera.

Battery

The Vivo Y100 comes with a 5000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. It can charge the phone to around 53% in just 30 minutes. Moreover, the battery keeps around 80% battery health even after 1600 complete charge and discharge cycles. 

Price & Availability

The Vivo Y100 has been officially released in China and will soon be available in other parts of the world. It comes in quite a handful of variants for consumers to choose from
