Xiaomi Civi 3 Released with Dimensity 8200 Ultra, 6.55inches OLED and much more

Xiaomi has officially released the much anticipated Xiaomi Civi 3, the first phone released with MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra chip. It has a Xiaomi imaging brain for better and faster processing. The device has a 6.55-inch OLED screen., 32MP on the front camera, 50MP main camera on the rear, 32MP, 2MP macro camera, a 4500mAh battery and much more.

Display & Appearance

The Xiaomi Civi 3 has a mid-sized 6.55 inches OLED hyperbolic screen with a resolution of 2400×1080. It has a refresh rate of 120Hz and 240Hz touch sampling rate, making the screen quite smooth. The screen is made of CSOT C6 luminescent material, global brightness of 1200nit and a peak brightness of 1500nit. It makes the device usable even in the bright outdoors. The screen has passed Dolby Vision, HDR 10+ certification and 12-bit colour depth for a rich viewing experience. For added durability, the phone comes with Corning GG5 protective glass. 

The device has a thickness of 7.56mm and weighs around 173.5g. It has NFC, infrared remote control and supports off-screen fingerprint sensor. The device has been released in 4 colours.

Processor & Storage

The Xiaomi Civi 3 gets its processing power from the newly released MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra chip. The Ultra version has the same frequency, but Xiaomi imaging brain has been added. It has LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 flash memory for faster data transfer. The device also has 4000mm² VC liquid cooling and 10567.9mm² graphite cooling. It makes the device stay cool even after long hours of usage. 

The RAM options for the phone are 12GB and 16 GB. As for the memory storage, it comes with 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.

Camera

The front camera of the Xiaomi Civi 3 is dual setup. It has a 32MP main camera  (Samsung S5K3D2, f/2.0 and 78-degree angle) and a 32MP ultra-wide angle (Samsung S5K3D2, /2.0 and 100-degree angle). Moreover, it has multi-colour temperatures four soft lights for better selfies and videos. 

On the back side, it comes with a triple camera setup. The main camera of 50MP (Sony IMX800, f/1.77, 1G+6P with OIS), 8MP ultra-wide angle (Sony IMX355) and 2MP micro camera (Geco Micro GC02M1).

Battery 

The Xiaomi Civi 3 comes with a battery size of 4500mAh lithium cobalt oxide battery with support of 67W fast charging. It can charge the phone to 100% in just 38 minutes.

Price & Availability 

The Xiaomi Civi 3 has been officially released in China and will soon be available in other parts of the world. There are three variants of the phone for users to choose from

• 16GB+1TB 2999 yuan ($423)
