Xiaomi Mi 11 Will Be China's First Snapdragon 875 Phone With An Exclusive Period

Qualcomm will be releasing the flagship processor Snapdragon 875 on December 1, 2020. Samsung and Xiaomi will be one of the first to release Snapdragon 875 phones. Today, according to Digitial Chat Station on Weibo, Xiaomi Mi 11 will debut Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 in China, with an exclusive period.

Judging from the past years, we know that the Xiaomi Mi series debuts the first Snapdragon 8xx SoC in China. So, this time it’s no different. Xiaomi Mi 11 will be the first Snapdragon 875 phone to release in China.

About Snapdragon 875 Used in Xiaomi Mi 11

Compared with the previous generation of Snapdragon 865, Snapdragon 875 is built on the 5nm process (Snapdragon 865 use a 7nm process). It uses the Cortex X1 super core for the first time, and Cortex A78 core at the same time, and is expected to integrate 5G baseband, becoming Qualcomm’s first integration 5G flagship SoC.

In addition to the Snapdragon 875, there are few other details about Mi 11. Previously, Xiaomi demonstrated the third-generation under-screen camera technology and confirmed that it will be mass-produced and commercialized next year. So it is not ruled out that Mi 11 will feature the under-screen camera technology.
