Xiaomi Mi 14 debuts with 6.32-inch OLED Straight Screen

Xiaomi Mi 14 has been officially released as it targets the budget category of consumers. The device features the industry-leading Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, maximum RAM option of 16GB, 1TB of maximum device storage, 6.36-inch OLED screen, 32MP front camera, triple rear cameras, 4610 mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging, and much more.

The Xiaomi Mi 14 features a vibrant 6.36-inch OLED straight screen with a resolution of 2670 x 1200. It supports a 1-120Hz LTPO step-less high brush refresh rate for smooth and battery-efficient performance. It is made of Huaxing C8 luminescent material, supports 12-bit color depth, and has a local peak brightness of 3000nit. The device is protected by a Corning Gorilla Victus glass cover. 

The glass version of the device is 8.29mm thick and weighs around 193g. Its nano leather version is 8.28mm and weighs around 188g. The device supports WiFi 7, USB 3.2 (5Gbps), infrared remote control, dual stereo speakers, and has an IP68 rating. It comes in 4 colors giving users a handful of choices.

Processor & Storage of Xiaomi Mi 14

The Xiaomi Mi 14 gets its processing power from the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It is one of the earliest phones to feature a super powerful chipset. The processor has 1 x 3.3Ghz Cortex X4, 3 x 3.15Ghz Cortex A720, 2 x 2.96Ghz Cortex A720 and 2 x 2.17Ghz Cortex A520. It has peak performance increased by 30% and GPU peak performance increased by 35%. The device comes with LPDDR5x memory and UFS 4.0 flash memory for faster data transfer rates. It has ring-cold pump cooling to keep the device cool and an independent security chip as well.

The RAM options for the device are 8GB, 12GB and 16GB. It has device memory storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.   

Camera

The Xiaomi Mi 14 comes with a 32MP front camera (Howe OV32B). On the rear side, it has triple cameras. The primary lens is a 50MP main camera (Light Hunter 900, 1/1.31 inch, f/1.6 aperture, and OIS). It has other lenses 50MP telephoto (Samsung S5KJN1, OIS, maximum focusing distance of 10 cm), and a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens. 

Battery

The Xiaomi Mi 14 comes with a 4610mAh silicon Carbon negative battery that supports 90W fast charging. It supports 50W wireless fast charging. The battery has a ThePaper P2 fast charging chip and a ThePaper G1 battery management chip. It will help the device get better battery performance.
