Xiaomi Mi 14 Pro debuts with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chipset

Xiaomi Mi 14 Pro has been officially released in China and will be available in other parts of the world. It is the first device to come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, making it an industry-leading device. The device has a vibrant 6.73-inch OLED screen, up to 16GB RAM options, a maximum of 1TB storage, a 32 MP front camera, a triple camera setup of 50MP lenses on the back, a 4880mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging and much more.

The Xiaomi Mi 14 Pro gets its processing power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, making it the first device to come with the processor. It has 1 x 3.3 Ghz Cortex X4, 3 x 3.15Ghz Cortex A720, 2 x 2.96Ghz A720 and 2 x 2.27 Ghz Cortex A520. The CPU peak performance is increased by 30% and the GPU peak performance is increased by 35%. 

It has LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 flash memory for faster data transfer rates. The device has an annular cold pump cooling and an independent security chip. It has RAM options of 12GB and 16 GB. The memory storage options for the device are 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. 

Display & Appearance 

The Xiaomi Mi 14 Pro features a vibrant 6.73-inch OLED equal depth four curved screen with a resolution of 3200 x 1440. It supports 1 – 120Hz LTPO stress high brush refresh rate for better battery management. The device has a local peak brightness of 3000nit, 12-bit color depth, 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and a Xiaomi glass cover. 

Cameras of the Xiaomi Mi 14 Pro

The front camera of the Xiaomi Mi 14 Pro is 32 MP (Howell OV32B). On the rear side, it has a triple camera setup. The primary lens is 50MP (Light Hunter 900, 1/1.31 inch, f/1.42 to f/4.0 infinitely variable aperture and supports OIS). It has a secondary lens of 50MP ultra-wide angle lens (Samsung S5KJN1 and supports 5cm macro). The third lens is a 50MP telephoto lens (Samsung S5KJN1, OIS, focusing distance 10cm, effective pixels for photo/video 40MP, and effective pixels for portraits 50MP). 

Battery

The battery capacity of the Xiaomi Mi 14 Pro is a 4880mAh silicon carbon negative battery that supports 120W fast charging. The device supports 50W wireless fast charging. It has two Paper Phone 2 fast charge chips and one ThePaper G1 battery management. 

The device has a thickness of 8.49mm and weighs around 223g. It has an infrared remote control, USB 3.2 (10Gbps), stereo dual speakers, and an independent privacy leakproof earpiece. The device comes in 3 color options
