Xiaomi Mi 6X Camera To Be Sony IMX486 – Will Not Integrate Helio P60!

The latest and most recent conference of Smartphones is very close to occurring, specifically in the current month of April, and with it, a new series of technological rumors have emerged. It was expected that Xiaomi was not oblivious to them, and is that the new leaks talk about the next terminal of the company. The Xiaomi Mi 6X Camera and CPU (probably known as A2 in the rest of the world) have been released to the internet, and here we have all the details.

Xiaomi Mi 6X Camera & CPU – The leak

Earlier a series of Tweets from Mishaal Rahman emerged. In them, you can see a set of interesting data such as the mention of some models of Xiaomi Mi 6X called M1804D2SE/M1804D2SC. These were accompanied by some memory parameters that position the terminal with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM, placing it definitely in a higher category in this section than the recent Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.

There are many expectations about which processor could include the terminal, and the chances of it being the Snapdragon 626 or the 660 were considered. In the end, everything seemed to indicate that the Xiaomi Mi 6X could use a MediaTek Helio P60 processor. This processor has a speed of up to 2.0GHz, differing from the 2.2GHz that was rumored. Or that was what everyone thought. Finally, this last statement about the processor ended up being fake, since the same Mishaal (editor in chief of XDA) said that this was a wrong message. This seems to indicate that the chip will not be, at least, MediaTek.

Previously the same Mishaal managed to unravel more information through the search for the possible firmware of the device, saying that the Xiaomi Mi 6X Camera would be: a Sony IMX486 sensor with a size of 1.25 microns and a resolution of 20MP for the main camera, a IMX376 sensor that would the partner of the main camera with 12MP, and another Sony IMX376 sensor for the front with 20MP. These numbers would leave the new terminal in a tie with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro from India.
