Xiaomi Launches Type-C 5-in-1 Docking Station | 100W fast charging

On November 1st, Xiaomi launched a new Type-C 5-in-1 docking station, which supports the PD3.0 protocol and is priced at 149 yuan (20.42 USD).

In terms of design, the Xiaomi Type-C 5-in-1 docking station comes with a hidden wire storage slot, a unibody all-aluminum alloy chassis, a C-port expansion for three USB3.0, Type-C, HDMI, and five other external device ports.

The USB 3.0 has a reading speed of 5Gbps, a writing speed of 450MB/s and 1GB data transfer takes about 3 seconds to complete. Meanwhile, the Type-C port support PD 100W fast charging (can easily charge a notebook with 90W power) and also has the USB 3.0 high-speed data transfer function. The HDMI interface supports up to 4K 60Hz video transmission.

Regarding compatibility, the Xiaomi Type-C 5-in-1 docking station supports Windows, Android, macOS, and Linux systems support hot-swapping, and no drivers (plug and play) are required.

It should be mentioned that users need to confirm the laptop Type-C interface including PD charging and data transfer (thunderbolt ports etc) so that they can take the advantage of the Xiaomi Type-C 5-in-1 docking station.
