Aliexpress 11.11 2023 Guide & Coupons

We are back with another shopping guide. This time we have the 11.11 sale on Aliexpress for 2023. In comparison to last year’s event, this time Aliexpress has removed a few offers.

Let’s get into the details:

What is the 11.11 festival?

AliExpress 11.11 sale also nicknamed Double 11 is a Global Shopping Festival which is AliExpress’ biggest sale of the year. This time the date is different for the event. Instead of being a 1 to 2-day event, it’s a 7-day event.

Start and End Date For 11.11: The sale starts on November 11th to 17th, 2023 PST (7 days).

You can browse the store and use the search filter to see only the 11.11 sale deals.

Now you might be wondering what exactly 11.11 means on AliExpress. Well on the 11th of November China celebrates Single’s Day and back in 2009 Alibaba converted it into the biggest 24-hour shopping festival.

What’s New This Time on Aliexpress 11.11 in 2022

To be honest, this time the event is a bit of a letdown because of limited combinations for a not-so-massive discount.

1. 11.11 Product Discounts (up to 50% off)
2. Spend & Save ($4 discount on every $20 spent, $8 on $40, $12 on $60, and $16 on $80)
3. Merge Boss
4. AliExpress coupon codes and store coupons
5. Lowest price of the year (11.11 discount + spend & save + coupons or promo Code)

Sadly, there’s no money-hop game or GoGo Match this time, but instead Merge Boss.

We will explain what this all means.

1) 11.11 Products Discounts (up to 90% off)

Finally, Aliexpress heard what I had been complaining about for years. Instead of up to 90% fake discount, they have decreased it to 50% discounts. It might not be that appealing but hey at least it’s a bit less fake than the last year’s one. In the end, some of the products might even have a price higher than the original. You can use Pricearchive.org to check the history of a product’s price throughout the year.

Most of the time the discount might be $1 but when they label it with 50 to 90% off people are easily tricked. If you are wondering if their prices go down the answer is yes but not what these stores make you believe—also collective shopping (ordering many things also helps to save more as well).

Here is a Tip for you.

“Always follow and buy products from famous sellers on AliExpress (official stores and some third-party sellers like Goldway). You can always see the number of orders for the product. More orders >> reliable seller >> best product price on AliExpress. Most of the time stores with randomly generated numbers are new and more likely to do a fraud.”

2) Spend & Save ($4 discount on every $20 spent, up to $16 off on $80)

This time we are seeing $4 off every $20 instead of $5 off on every $30. However, there’s a catch to it as well:

1. Spend & Save is only available to limited products
2. These limited products do have slightly increased prices than the usual original price

You might want to do collective shopping (buying multiple things to get the maximum advantage of spend & saving).

Summary

In a few cases, they do let you save a couple of dollars on collective orders, but most of the time, that $4 off reaches the original price or slightly lower. The larger the order is, the more the saving is, but not jaw-dropping.

3) Merge Boss

The worst thing to ever happen on an 11.11 sale. This year’s featured game ‘Merge Boss’ is a simulation, management, and casual game like My Cafe. It does bring some freshness instead of seeing the old GoGo match and money hop.

It’s limited to the mobile app users. The user has to collect specific points to get some dollars off. Thankfully, it doesn’t have any Aliexpress or store coupons or using it on 99% off items or coins confusion. Just play and collect points for pure discounts.

Scoring such points will take some time since you have limited energy to generate electronics and plates which can be increased by doing some tasks and inviting friends. The energy regeneration would only be after you invite friends.

The points can be redeemed for:

• Discounts only for points (must be redeemed before the event starts)

The bad part…

This game is only limited to the warm-up period. As the actual sale starts this game would disappear.

4) AliExpress and store coupons

On AliExpress we have two types of coupons: AliExpress and Store.

Let’s start with the Store coupons. Stores do provide exclusive coupons for this 11.11. They are similar to the coupons shown below:

Usually, the stores provide these coupons on ordinary days.

Whether it is a $1 off $1.03 coupon or $1 of $10 or $3 off on $30 on products ranging from $5 to $30, you will still get only $1 off per $10, no matter the price of the product (just a limit to reach to apply the coupon, however, good stores must offer better discounts on higher orders). As for $1 off of $1.03, these stores usually have a high-priced product, you can’t apply $1 off to get a $2 thing or $1.03 for free.

AliExpress coupons are much better and provide better savings than store coupons. Sadly, Aliexpress is not providing Aliexpress site-wide coupons this time.

So we are only limited to applying coupon codes given to us along with store coupons + Aliexpress coupon codes.

Moreover, there are also seller’s discounts as well.

Tip: Look for coupon codes in images sellers provide on a specific product page.

Also no cashback this year. But you can use other third-party cashback apps.

5) Lowest Price Of The Year (The Ultimate Saving Tactic)

What makes 11.11 special and boosts sales is not the single promos mentioned above, but the combination of different promos on a single order which is:

Merely discounted 11.11 products + $4 off on every $20 spent (max $16) + Aliexpress coupon code and/or In-store coupon + cashback (third party) + seller discount (if available)= THE ULTIMATE DISCOUNT OF THE YEAR.

Sadly, you won’t be getting as big of a discount as you did last year because I rarely see coins and cashback promos on products and even Aliexpress site-wide coupon isn’t available. But still, there would be some savings if you order multiple products.
