How To Pair The Earbuds? – Dual Mode

To Android And iOS Devices

Step 1: Open the lid of the charging case. After that, a white light will be on for 1 second, and the earbuds will turn on automatically and pair with each other.

A white light will start flashing quickly on the master earbud and a white light will flash slowly on the secondary one, meaning that the earbuds are now ready to pair with any device.

Step 2: Unlock the desired device.

Step 3: Go to the device’s settings.

Step 4: Turn on Bluetooth on the desired device.

Step 5: Search for a new device.

Step 6: Select the Nirvana Ion ANC earbuds. If a password is needed, type “0000” or “1234”.

After that, a white light will flash two times, and the pairing will be done.

To Windows (PC)

Step 1: Turn on the Window’s Bluetooth.

Step 2: Go to the settings.

Step 3: Go to “Bluetooth and other devices”.

Step 4: Click on “Add device”.

Step 5: Click on Bluetooth.

Step 6: Open the lid of the charging case. After that, a white light will be on for 1 second, and the earbuds will turn on automatically and pair with each other.

Step 7: Select the Nirvana Ion ANC earbuds. If a password is needed, type “0000” or “1234”.

How To Pair The Earbuds? – Single Mode

Step 1: Open the lid of the charging case and take the selected earbud out. After that, it will turn on.

A white light will start flashing, meaning that the earbud will be ready to pair with any device.

Step 2: Unlock the desired device.

Step 3: Go to the device’s settings.

Step 4: Turn on Bluetooth on the desired device.

Step 5: Search for a new device.

Step 6: Select the Nirvana Ion ANC earbud. If a password is needed, type “0000” or “1234”.

After that, the pairing will be done.

NOTE: To switch to Stereo mode, simply take out the other earbud from the case. It will automatically power on and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling Stereo (dual) usage. Also, you can’t skip or return to the previous song in single mode.

NOTE 2: You cannot activate the ANC and Ambient modes during single mode, and the wear detection feature for calls and ANC is applicable only in dual mode.

Multipoint Connectivity

Step 1: Turn on the Bluetooth on the first device and search for the Nirvana Ion ANC earbuds. After the selection is done, the earbuds will be paired.

Step 2: Turn off the Bluetooth on said device. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode again.

Step 3: Turn on the Bluetooth on the second device and search for the Nirvana Ion ANC earbuds. They will connect.

Step 4: Turn on the Bluetooth on the first device again. The earbuds will now reconnect with the first device and be paired with both of them.

How To Wear These Earbuds?

Step 1: Take both earbuds out of the charging case.

Step 2: Identify the left and right earbuds.

Step 3: Choose the ear tips that best suit your ears.

Step 4: Insert the headphones into the inner canal of the ears.

Step 5: Rotate for the best possible comfort and best fit, and make sure that the microphone is pointing to the mouth.

How To Turn On And Off?

Turn On

Automatically: Open the lid of the charging case. After that, a white light will be on for 1 second, and the earbuds will turn on automatically.

Turn Off

Automatically: Place the earbuds into the charging case and close its lid. After that, the earbuds will turn off automatically.

How To Control These Earbuds?

NOTE: The capacitive touch control is placed on the upper part of the body of the earbuds.

• Auto-pause a song: Take the earbuds out of the ear canal.
• Auto-play a song: Place the earbuds into the ear canal.
• Play or pause a song: Press the capacitive touch control on any of the earbuds one time.
• Play the next song: While listening to music, press the capacitive touch control on the right earbud two times.
• Play the previous song: While listening to music, press the capacitive touch control on the left earbud two times.
• Answer an incoming call: Press the capacitive touch control on any of the earbuds one time.
• End a current call: Press the capacitive touch control on any of the earbuds two times.
• Reject an incoming call: Press the capacitive touch control on any of the earbuds two times.
• Activate the voice assistant: Press the capacitive touch control on the right earbud four times.
• Activate and switch between the Ambient, ANC, and normal modes: Press and hold the capacitive touch control on the right earbud for about 2 seconds.
• Switch the Crystal Bionic Sound (EQ modes): Press and hold the capacitive touch control on the left earbud for about 2 seconds.
• Activate the Beast mode (low latency): Press the capacitive touch control on any of the earbuds three times.

Volume cannot be controlled via earbuds and can only be adjusted using the connected phone/media device.

How To Charge The Earbuds?

Earbuds

To charge the earbuds, all you have to do is place them into the charging case and close its lid. The earbuds will start charging automatically.

Charging Case

To charge the charging case, all you have to do is connect the case to a USB charger or charging port. It will start charging automatically.

What Do The Lights Mean?

Earbuds

• A white light on for 1 second: The earbuds turn on.
• A white light starts flashing quickly on the master earbud and a white light flashes slowly on the secondary one: The earbuds are now ready to pair with any device.
• A white light flashes two times: The earbuds are now connected.
• A red light flashes quickly 3 times: The earbuds have less than 20% of battery.
• A light flashes 5 times while resetting: The earbuds are resetting.

Charging Case

• A white light on with the earbuds inside: The earbuds are charging.
• Said white light turns off with the earbuds inside: The earbuds are fully charged.
• A red light flashes 3 times while charging: The case has less than 29% of battery.
• A white light flashes 3 times while charging: The case has between 30% and 70% of battery.
• A green light flashes 3 times while charging: The case has more than 70% of battery.
• A green on for 5 seconds while charging: The case is fully charged.
• A light flashes 5 times while resetting: The earbuds are resetting.

How To Reset And Re-Pair These Earbuds?

NOTE: To ensure a good result, make sure that the earbuds are fully charged.

Step 1: Go to the device’s settings.

Step 2: Delete the Nirvana Ion ANC earbuds from the devices’ Bluetooth list.

Step 3: Turn off Bluetooth on the device.

Step 4: Place the earbuds into the charging case and keep the lid open.

Step 5: Press and hold the reset button on the outside of the charging case for about 10 seconds, or until a light flashes 5 times in both the earbuds and the case.

This will reset the earbuds.

Step 6: Place the earbuds into the case and close its lid. Wait for 5 seconds.

Step 7: Turn on Bluetooth on the device.

Step 8: Search for a new device.

Step 9: Open the lid of the charging case. After that, a white light will be on for 1 second, and the earbuds will turn on automatically and pair with each other.

Do These Earbuds Have An App?

Sadly, these earbuds don’t come with a specialized app or app support.

Some Common Problems & Troubleshooting

Left/Right/One side of the earbuds has stopped working

If this happens, it may be because it is low on battery or it did not connect correctly with the device. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try charging the earbud that is not working or both, placing them in the charging case.

2. Try factory resetting the earbuds.

3. Check if the earbuds are operating within a normal working range.

If that doesn’t work, the earbud is probably faulty, and I can go for a refund or replacement of it.

Left/Right/One side of the earbuds has a low volume

If this happens, it may be because the earbuds are dirty or the volume is set low. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try cleaning the earbud using a cotton swab or carefully clean the mesh with a pin.

2. Try factory resetting the earbuds.

The microphone is not working

If this happens, it can be because the microphone is muted, or the earbuds are badly positioned. To fix this, you can do the following:

If the microphone is muted, check the device microphone volume. If that doesn’t work, that means that there might be a defect in the earbuds, so try replacing them or getting a refund.

The earbuds are not connecting to Windows/laptop/PC

If the earbuds are not connecting, it can be because the Bluetooth on the computer has a pairing problem. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try disabling Bluetooth from nearby devices >>> then activate the pairing mode of the earbuds, pair and connect earbuds from Settings >>> Bluetooth & other devices >>> Add a new device >>>> Select Bluetooth.

2. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Bluetooth driver, or updating the Bluetooth driver. All can be done in Manage >>> Device Manager, reset earbuds (if available), and then repeat the step.

3. Try resetting the earbuds.
