EarFun Free 2 Manual | How to Pair / Connect?

For iOS or Android Phone

Step 1: Open the charging case, so the earbuds will automatically enter the Bluetooth pairing mode.

Step 2 Turn on the Bluetooth on the desired device.

Step 3: Go to the Bluetooth settings.

Step 3: Select the “EarFun Free 2”. If a password is needed, type “0000”.

Step 4: After that, the pairing will be done.

For Laptops (Windows)

Step 1: Turn on Window’s Bluetooth.

Step 2: Go to the settings.

Step 3: Go to “Bluetooth and other devices”.

Step 4: Click on “Add device”.

Step 5: Click on Bluetooth.

Step 6: Take the earbuds out of the charging case so they turn on and pair to each other automatically.

Step 7: The earbuds by the name “EarFun Free 2” will appear on the settings.

Step 8: Select and, after this, the earbuds will automatically connect to the desired device and will be ready to use. If a password is needed, type “0000”.

Method 1

Step 1: Unpair the earbuds from the Bluetooth-enabled device that’s connected. The earbuds will disconnect from the current device and enter pairing mode.

Step 2: Look for new devices.

Step 3: Select the “EarFun Free 2”. If a password is needed, type “0000”.

Step 4: After that, the pairing will be done.

Method 2

Step 1: Place the earbuds in the charging case and make sure they are charging.

Step 2: Keep the cover open and press and hold the button on the charging case for 2 seconds, until the LED indicators on the earbuds flash blue rapidly.

Step 3: Look for new devices.

Step 4: Select the “EarFun Free 2”. If a password is needed, type “0000”.

Earbuds

Step 1: Place the earbuds into their place on the charging case and close it. The earbuds will automatically start charging.

Step 2: After 1.5 hours, the earbuds will be fully charged.

Step 1: Use a certified USB-C charging cable and charger to prevent any damage.

Step 2: Connect the charging case to the power supply by using a USB Type-C charging cable. The LED indicators on the charging case will indicate the charging status.

Step 2: Identify the left and right earbuds.

Step 3: Insert the earbuds into the canal of the ears.

Earbuds

• Blue LED light flashes 1 second: Earbuds turn on.
• Red LED light flashes 1 second: Earbuds turn off.
• Blue LED light flashes: Earbuds go into pairing mode.
• Blue LED light turns off: Earbuds successfully connected.
• Purple LED light flashes: Factory reset.

Charging case

• Green light: More than 30% of battery.
• Orange light: Less than 30% of battery.
• Red light: Less than 10% of battery.
• Red light flashing: Less than 5% of battery.

• Play or pause music: Double-click the multifunction button on any of the earbuds.
• Turn the volume up: Click the multifunction button on the right earbud once.
• Turn the volume down: Click the multifunction button on the left earbud once.
• Play next song: Triple-click multifunction button on the right earbud.
• Play previous song: Triple-click multifunction button on the left earbud.
• Accept an incoming call: Double-click the multifunction button on any of the earbuds.
• End a call: Double-click the multifunction button on any of the earbuds.
• Reject a call: Long press the multifunction button on any of the earbuds for 2 seconds.
• Answer a call and transfer two calls: Press and hold the multifunction button on any of the earbuds for 2 seconds.
• Activate the Voice Assistant: Press and hold the multifunction button on the right earbud for 2 seconds.
• Enter Low Latency Mode: Press and hold the multifunction button on the left earbud for 2 seconds.

Turn on

Take out the earbuds from the charging case. They will automatically turn on.

Turn off

Place the earbuds back into the charging case. They will automatically turn off.

EarFun Free 2 Manual | How to Activate Low Latency/Game Mode?

If you want to activate the Game Mode, all you have to do is tap and hold the multifunction button on the left earbud for 2 seconds.

EarFun Free 2 Manual | How to Reset?

Step 1: Place the earbuds in the charging case and leave the case open.

Step 2: Press and hold the button on the charging case for at least 8 seconds, until both earbuds LED lights flash in purple.

Step 3: After this, the reset procedure is complete.

Step 4: Delete the old connection from the Bluetooth device and reconnect with “EarFun Free 2”.

Some Common Earbuds Problems & Troubleshooting

Problems Left / Right / One side of the earbuds have stopped working

If this happens, it may be because it is low on battery or it did not connect correctly with the device. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try charging the earbud that is not working or both, placing them in the charging case.

2. Try factory reset the earbuds.

If that doesn’t work, the earbud is probably faulty, and I can go for a refund or replacement of it.

Left / Right / One side of the earbuds has low volume

If this happens, it may be because the earbuds are dirty or the volume is set low. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try cleaning the earbud using a cotton swab or carefully clean the mesh with a pin.

2. Try factory reset the earbuds.

Microphone not working

If this happens, it can be because the microphone is muted or it has a defect. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try checking the device microphone volume or earbud’s app microphone settings to see if it isn’t muted or low.

If that doesn’t work, you can always reset the earbuds. With that being said, if that doesn’t help, there might be a defect in the earbud, try replacing it or get a refund.

EarFun Free 2 earbuds not connecting to Windows / laptop / PC

If the earbuds are earbuds not connecting, it can be because the Bluetooth on the computer has a pairing problem. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try disabling Bluetooth from nearby devices >>> then activate pairing mode of the earbuds, pair and connect earbuds from Settings >>> Bluetooth & other devices >>> Add a new device >>>> elect Bluetooth,

2. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Bluetooth driver, or update the Bluetooth driver. All can be done in Manage >>> Device Manager, reset earbuds (if available), and then repeat the step.

3. Try resetting the earbuds as said in the pairing section above.
