OPPO has entered the smartphone market with their latest offering, Oppo A3, a device with decent specs and an affordable price tag. The phone comes with a Snapdragon 695 mobile processing platform, up to 12GB RAM, a maximum of 512GB device storage, a 6.7-inch OLED screen that supports 120Hz refresh rate, an 8MP front camera, dual cameras on the back, a 5000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging and much more.

Design & Appearance

The OPPO A3 features a vibrant 6.7-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2412 x 1080. It has a full-screen maximum brightness of 1200nit, bright eye protection, and is protected by Oppo crystal shield glass. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum 240Hz touch sampling rate for smoother user experience.

It has a thickness of 7.15mm and weighs 179.05g. The phone has a rotor motor, supports IP65 dust and water resistance, and is equipped with ColorOS 14 system (Android 14). It comes in various color options of 

  • Aurora Purple
  • Tranquil Sea Black
  • Mountain Stream Green (exclusive OPPO super wear-resistant crystal diamond process)

Processor & Storage

The Oppo A3 gets its processing power from the Snapdragon 695 mobile processing platform. It has LPDDR4X memory and UFS 2.2 flash memory for faster data transfer rates.

The phone has RAM options of 8GB and 12 GB. It has device storage options of 256GB and 512 GB. Also, it has support for up to 1TB memory card expansion.

Cameras of the Oppo A3

The front camera of the Oppo A3 is 8MP. On the rear side, it has dual cameras of 50MP and 2MP for optimal photos and videos.

Battery

The battery capacity of the Oppo A3 is 5000mAh which supports 45W fast charging. It can charge the phone to 50% in just 30 minutes.

Price & Availability

The Oppo A3 has been officially released in China and will soon be available in other parts of the world. It has various variants for users to choose from

  • 8+256GB is 1599 yuan ($220)
  • 12+256GB is 1799 yuan ($247)
  • 12+512GB is 2099 yuan ($289)
