How To Wear These Earbuds?

Step 1: Take both earbuds out of the charging case.

Step 2: Identify the left and right earbuds.

Step 3: Choose the ear tips that best suit your ears.

Step 4: Insert the headphones into the inner canal of the ears.

Step 5: Rotate for the best possible comfort and best fit, and make sure that the microphone is pointing to the mouth.

How To Turn On And Off?

Turn On

Automatically: Open the lid of the charging case. After that, they will turn on automatically.

Turn Off

Automatically: Place the earbuds into the charging case and close its lid. After that, the earbuds will turn off automatically.

How To Pair The Earbuds?

To Devices With Google Fast Pair

Step 1: Turn on Bluetooth on the desired device.

Step 2: Open the lid of the charging case. After that, the earbuds will turn on automatically.

Step 3: Wait until the Fast Pairing notification appears, and tap “Connect”. After that, the pairing will be done.

NOTE: This feature only works on Android phones running Marshmallow and above/6.0+.

To Android Or iOS Devices

Step 1: Open the lid of the charging case. After that, the earbuds will turn on automatically.

Step 2: Unlock the desired device.

Step 3: Go to the device’s settings.

Step 4: Turn on Bluetooth on the desired device.

Step 5: Search for a new device.

Step 6: Select the OPPO Enco Air3 earbuds. If a password is needed, type “0000”. After that, the pairing will be done.

To Windows (PC)

Step 1: Turn on Window’s Bluetooth.

Step 2: Go to the settings.

Step 3: Go to “Bluetooth and other devices”.

Step 4: Click on “Add device”.

Step 5: Click on Bluetooth.

Step 6: Open the lid of the charging case. After that, the earbuds will turn on automatically.

Step 7: Select the OPPO Enco Air3 earbuds. If a password is needed, type “0000”. After that, the pairing will be done.

How To Pair To A Second Device?

In case you didn’t know, these earbuds have dual-connection support, meaning that they can be connected to two devices at the same time. To achieve this, do the following steps:

NOTE: The following process is made with the earbuds actively connected to a first device.

Step 1: Unlock the second device.

Step 2: Go to the device’s settings.

Step 3: Turn on Bluetooth on said device.

Step 4: Open the lid of the charging case. After that, the earbuds will turn on automatically.

Step 5: Take the earbuds out of the charging case.

Step 6: Press and hold the multifunction touch area on both earbuds for a couple of seconds. They will enter pairing mode.

Step 7: Search for a new or other devices.

Step 8: Select the OPPO Enco Air3 earbuds. Now, they will be connected to both devices at the same time.

How To Control These Earbuds? – Stereo Mode

  • Play the next song: Press the multifunction touch area on any of the earbuds two times.
  • Answer an incoming call: Press the multifunction touch area on any of the earbuds two times.
  • End a current call: Press the multifunction touch area on any of the earbuds two times.
  • Turn the volume up: Press and hold the multifunction touch area on the right earbud for about 1 second.
  • Turn the volume down: Press and hold the multifunction touch area on the left earbud for about 1 second.

NOTE 1: The single tap function is disabled by default, which works for playing and resuming the music or videos. It can get activated using the specialized app.

NOTE 2: The triple tap function is disabled by default, which works for the voice assistant. It can get activated using the specialized app.

How To Activate The Mono Mode?

To activate or deactivate the mono mode in these earbuds, all you have to do is to pair the earbuds to the device and take out one of the earbuds from the charging case. It will start working by itself.

To charge the earbuds, all you have to do is to place them into the charging case and close its lid. The earbuds will start charging automatically.

To charge the charging case, all you have to do is to connect the case to a USB charger or charging port. It will start charging automatically.

How To Reset These Earbuds?

Step 1: Open the lid of the charging case. After that, the earbuds will turn on automatically.

Step 2: Take the earbuds out of the charging case.

Step 3: Press and hold the multifunction touch area on both earbuds for about 15 seconds, until an alert tone is heard.

This will reset the earbuds to the factory setting, and the process will be done.

A Guide to The OPPO Enco Air3 APP

In order to view information, update or modify actions in the OPPO Enco Air3, there is a specially created application, called HeyMelody, which is available for iOS and Android devices. When connecting to the respective earbuds, general information will appear on the home screen, such as the battery of the earbuds and the charging case, as well as three specific options:

  • First option: Here, with just a few clicks, you will be able to update the firmware of the earbuds, so that they work in the best possible way at all times. Likewise, the current version of the firmware will appear and it will notify in case of updates.
  • Second option: Here, the available controls that come with the earbuds will appear. Likewise, they will be able to be modified, added, or eliminated depending on the tastes or needs of the user.

How to Update The Earbuds Firmware?

Step 1: Install the HeyMelody app on your mobile device.

Step 2: Open the HeyMelody app and allow the permissions.

Step 3: Turn on Bluetooth on the mobile device.

Step 4: Open the charging case and place the earphones inside. Make sure that the earbuds are placed within 15 cm of the device.

Step 5: On the device, tap the “Scan” button to scan the devices nearby.

Step 6: After the scanning is complete, it will show the “OPPO Enco Air3“.

Step 7: Tap the “OPPO Enco Air3“.

Step 8: Tap “Firmware update” to check for any available updates.

Some Common Problems & Troubleshooting

Left/Right/One side of the earbuds has stopped working

If this happens, it may be because it is low on battery or it did not connect correctly with the device. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try charging the earbud that is not working or both, placing them in the charging case.

2. Try factory resetting the earbuds.

3. Check if the earbuds are operating within a normal working range

If that doesn’t work, the earbud is probably faulty, and I can go for a refund or replacement of it.

Left/Right/One side of the earbuds has a low volume

If this happens, it may be because the earbuds are dirty or the volume is set low. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try cleaning the earbud using a cotton swab or carefully clean the mesh with a pin.

2. Try factory resetting the earbuds.

The microphone is not working

If this happens, it can be because the microphone is muted, or the earbuds are badly positioned. To fix this, you can do the following:

If the microphone is muted, check the device microphone volume. If that doesn’t work, that means that there might be a defect in the earbud, so try replacing them or get a refund.

The earbuds are not connecting to Windows/laptop/PC

If the earbuds are earbuds not connecting, it can be because the Bluetooth on the computer has a pairing problem. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try disabling Bluetooth from nearby devices >>> then activate the pairing mode of the earbuds, pair and connect earbuds from Settings >>> Bluetooth & other devices >>> Add a new device >>>> select Bluetooth.

2. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Bluetooth driver, or updating the Bluetooth driver. All can be done in Manage >>> Device Manager, reset earbuds (if available), and then repeat the step.
