Redmi 7 Review – Incredible Battery Life, Same Affordable Price!

Since the rise of smartphones, budget-friendly, below $100 smartphones have been the foremost reason for the rapid popularization of smartphones in a short period. However, it is worth noting that with the continuous price increase of components and the limitation of profit margins, the frequency, and extent of the upgrade, under this price range, in recent years is quite slow. Interestingly the audience targeted for the budget-friendly smartphones is quite high.

It’s hard to believe how Redmi manages to offer such good features, performance, and battery under one of the lowest production cost

The smartphone manufacturers are increasing the price of such smartphones, gradually. Whereas, Redmi, after becoming an independent brand, is decreasing the price of the newly released flagships in comparison to the previous model. The new ‘Redmi 7’ comes at a starting price of 699 yuan ($104) which is 100 yuan ($20) lesser than its ancestor ‘Redmi 6’ priced at 799 yuan. However, it does sacrifice some features of the phone such as the screen but provides incredible performance, connectivity, and battery life despite the limited production cost. So, the reason for doing this Redmi 7 review is to find out if it still offers the same performance and features as the ‘Redmi’ family is according during the last 7 years.

Let’s get to know every inch of the flagship in this Redmi 7 Review:

The Unboxing

Redmi does a fresh start with the boxing of Redmi 7. It’s different from the Redmi 6 which was an orange box, similar to the Redmi Note 7 which is a white box. The white package is simple and plain with a large ‘7’ illustrated along with Redmi. The change can be seen at the bottom with the words “18 months long warranty” written in Chinese.

When other manufacturers are providing only 12 months warranty, Redmi, even with the limited production cost, is the only Chinese manufacturer in China to provide 18 months warranty. However, as said, it’s exclusive to China only.

Redmi 7 Review - Accessories

Interestingly, Redmi is generous this time by providing plastic protective cover. This saves us from buying a separate cover.
