How to Pair The Earbuds?

To Samsung Devices

Step 1: Place the earbuds into the charging case and close its lid.

NOTE: If the light indicator on the charging case flashes in red, take the earbuds out and insert them into the case again.

Step 2: Open the lid of the charging case. After that, the earbuds will turn on automatically. The earbuds will enter Bluetooth pairing mode automatically and a pop-up window will appear on your mobile device.

If the earbuds don’t enter pairing mode automatically, then press and hold the multifunction touch panel on both earbuds for about 3 seconds, or until the light inside the charging case starts flashing red and green.

Step 3: Tap “Connect” on the pop-up window and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection.

Once the connection has been established, the earbuds will be automatically connected to your mobile device whenever you open the charging case while the earbuds are inside it.

Step 1: Check the direction of each earbud and correctly insert them into their corresponding slots in the charging case.

Step 2: Close the lid of the charging case.

Step 3: Open the lid of the charging case. After that, the earbuds will turn on automatically.

Turn off: Place the earbuds on the charging case and close its lid. After that, they will turn off automatically.

How to Wear These Earbuds?

Step 1: Hold the upper and lower sides of each earbud and remove them from the charging case.

Step 2: Check the direction of each earbud.

Step 3: Choose the ear tips that best suit your ears.

Step 4: Hold the earbuds so that you see the imprinted direction marks, and insert the earbuds into your ears until they fit comfortably in your ears.

The touch-sensitive sensors will detect that you are wearing the earbuds when you put them on. Then, the earbud will emit a sound informing you that the earbud is detected.

  • Play or pause the music: Press the multifunction touch area on any of the earbuds one time.
  • Play the previous song: Press the multifunction touch area on any of the earbuds three times.
  • Start the current song from the beginning: Three seconds after a track begins playing, touch the multifunction touch area on any of the earbuds three times.
  • Answer an incoming call: Press the multifunction touch area on any of the earbuds two times.
  • End a current call: Press the multifunction touch area on any of the earbuds two times.
  • Reject an incoming call: Press and hold the multifunction touch area on any of the earbuds for a couple of seconds.
  • Stop using the Text-to-Speech feature: Press the multifunction touch area on any of the earbuds one time.

Setting The Touch-and-hold Feature

Step 1: Open the Galaxy Wearable app.

Step 2: Tap “Touch Controls”

Step 3: Tap the switch to activate it.

Step 4: Tap the “Touch and hold” switch to activate it.

Step 5: Tap “Touch and hold” and select touch-and-hold features for each earbud under “Left” or “Right”: Switch noise controls (active noise canceling and ambient sound mode), Bixby (voice assistant), and volume up and down.

How to Charge The Earbuds With Power Sharing?

Step 1: Open the lid of the charging case.

Step 2: Check the direction of each earbud and correctly insert them into their corresponding slots in the charging case.

Step 3: Close the lid of the charging case.

Step 4: Turn on the Wireless Power Sharing feature on the device that will function as the wireless charger.

Step 5: Place the center of the charging case’s back on the device that will function as the wireless charger.

How to Restart These Earbuds?

If the earbuds’ touch feature becomes unresponsive or the earbuds do not work properly, restart the earbuds.

Step 1: Insert the earbuds into their corresponding slots in the charging case.

Step 2: Keep the earbuds in their place after seven seconds or more.

Step 3: Remove the earbuds from the charging case.

Coupling The Earbuds

When you lose one of the earbuds, there’s no need to purchase a new set of earbuds, because you can make a new set of earbuds with a newly purchased earbud and the other earbud that you already have.

Step 1: Check the direction of each earbud, the newly purchased earbud, and the previously used earbud, and correctly insert them into their corresponding slots in the charging case.

Step 2: Touch and hold the multifunction touch button on both earbuds for seven seconds or more. The earbud battery indicator light will flash green and turn off. After that, the earbuds will be coupled.

What Do The Lights Mean?

Charging case

  • A red and green light flashing with the earbuds inside: The earbuds are in pairing mode.
  • A red light on with the earbuds inside: The earbuds are charging.
  • A green light on with the earbuds inside: The earbuds are fully charged.
  • A red light flashing with the earbuds inside: The charging was blocked due to abnormal temperatures.
  • A red light on while charging: The case is charging.
  • A green light on while charging: The case is fully charged.
  • A red light flashing while charging at a rapid pace: The charging was blocked due to abnormal temperatures.
  • A red light on for 5 seconds after closing the charging case: The case has a low battery (between 10% and 29%).
  • A yellow light on for 5 seconds after closing the charging case: The case has a medium battery (between 30% and 59%).
  • A green light on for 5 seconds after closing the charging case: The case has a high battery (more than 60%).
  • A green light turns on and off: The earbuds are coupled.

A Guide To Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 APP

The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 can be used with an application, called Galaxy Wearable. This application is available for Android devices. After you download the app and connect the earbuds, a notification will appear on the screen, for you to correctly place wear the earbuds.   • Main page: After having completed the connection process, at the top of the main page are the battery percentages of the earbuds and the charging case. Just below this, and in horizontal mono, is the ability to turn the Active Noise Canceling feature on and off, and there’s also the Equalizer. Right after that are the usual app settings, where you can change the controls, the Find My Earbuds feature, and general settings, so you can update the earbuds software and various other information.

Some Common Problems & Troubleshooting

Left / Right / One side of the earbuds has stopped working

If this happens, it may be because it is low on battery or it did not connect correctly with the device. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try charging the earbud that is not working or both, placing them in the charging case.

2. Try factory resetting the earbuds.

3. Check if the earbuds are operating within a normal working range

If this happens, it may be because the earbuds are dirty or the volume is set low. To fix this, you can do the following:

The microphone is not working

If this happens, it can be because the microphone is muted, or the earbuds are badly positioned. To fix this, you can do the following:

If the microphone is muted, check the device microphone volume. If that doesn’t work, that means that there might be a defect in the earbud, so try replacing them or get a refund.

The earbuds are not connecting to Windows/laptop/PC

If the earbuds are earbuds not connecting, it can be because the Bluetooth on the computer has a pairing problem. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try disabling Bluetooth from nearby devices >>> then activate the pairing mode of the earbuds, pair and connect earbuds from Settings >>> Bluetooth & other devices >>> Add a new device >>>> select Bluetooth.

2. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Bluetooth driver, or updating the Bluetooth driver. All can be done in Manage >>> Device Manager, reset earbuds (if available), and then repeat the step.
