How to Pair The Earbuds?

To Android And iOS Devices

Step 1: Open the lid of the charging case and take the earbuds out. After that, a “Power on” voice prompt will sound, and they will turn on automatically. A “Connected” voice prompt will sound, meaning that the earbuds are now paired with each other.

Step 2: Press and hold the multifunction touch button on both earbuds for about 3 seconds, until a red and blue light starts flashing for 1 minute approx. and a “Pairing” voice prompt will sound. That means that they are ready to pair with any device.

Step 3: Unlock the desired device.

Step 4: Turn on Bluetooth on the desired device.

Step 5: Go to the device’s Bluetooth settings.

Step 6: Select the “CX True Wireless” earbuds. If a password is needed, type “0000”. After that, a blue light will flash three times, a “Pairing successful” voice prompt will sound, and the pairing will be done.

To PC (Windows)

Step 1: Unlock the desired device.

Step 2: Turn on Bluetooth on the device.

Step 3: Go to the Settings.

Step 4: Go to “Bluetooth and other devices”.

Step 5: Click on “Add device”.

How to Wear?

Step 1: Take both earbuds out of the charging case.

Step 2: Identify the left and right earbuds.

Step 3: Choose the ear tips that best suit your ears.

Step 4: Insert the headphones into the inner canal of the ears.

Step 5: Rotate for the best possible comfort and best fit, and make sure that the microphone is pointing to the mouth.

To activate or deactivate the mono mode in these earbuds, all you have to do is to pair the earbuds to the device and take out one of the earbuds from the charging case. It will start working by itself.

The Earbud’s Voice Prompts

  • Power on: The earbuds turn on.
  • Power off: The earbuds turn off.
  • Connected: The earbuds are connected to each other.
  • Not connection: The earbuds could not connect to each other.
  • Pairing: The earbuds are ready to pair with any device.
  • Pairing successful: The earbuds are connected to the device.

  • Recharge headset: The battery is almost empty and must be charged.

How to Reset The Earbuds?

Step 1: Delete all pairing records of the “CX True Wireless” earbuds from the connected device.

Step 2: Turn off Bluetooth on the device.

Step 3: Take one earbud out of the charging case and keep the other one inside of it.

Step 4: Press and hold the multifunction touch button on said earbud for about 10 seconds, or until a green and red light starts flashing and a “Pairing” voice prompt sounds.

Step 5: Place the earbud back into the charging case, and leave the lid open.

Step 6: Take the other earbud out of the charging case and keep the other one inside of it.

What Do The Lights Mean?

Earbuds

  • A red and blue light flashing for 1 minute approx.: The earbuds are now in pairing mode.
  • A blue lights flash 3 times: The earbuds are connected to the desired device.
  • A red lights flash 3 times: The connection between the earbuds and the device failed.
  • A blue light on: The earbuds are connected to a device via Bluetooth.
  • A red light on: The earbuds are not connected to a device via Bluetooth/the connection has been lost.
  • A red lights flash quickly: The rechargeable battery is almost empty.
  • A red lights flash slowly: System error (reset the earbuds).
  • A green and red light flashing for 1 minute approx: The earbuds are in earbud pairing mode (to pair the right and left earbuds).

Charging case

  • A yellow light flashing while charging: The case is charging.
  • A green light flashing while charging: The case is fully charged.
  • A red light flashing while charging: There was a charging error/a battery error has been detected in at least one earbud.

The Sennheiser CX True Wireless earbuds can be used with an application, called Sennheiser Smart Control. This application is available for iOS and Android devices. Through it, the user will be able to see information about the earbuds, as well as all the internal characteristics that it has, in addition to being able to change and update them.

1. Try disabling Bluetooth from nearby devices >>> then activate the pairing mode of the earbuds, pair and connect earbuds from Settings >>> Bluetooth & other devices >>> Add a new device >>>> select Bluetooth.
