When you download the app, you will be able to configure the volume of the earbuds manually, in addition to being able to change the equalizer to its four versions (Music, Podcast, Movie, and Custom), change the hearing modes (Stay-Aware on and off), and special options such as configuring the button settings, multipoint pairing, and a user guide.

Step 2: Press the “Update” button on the home page for more detailed information before getting started with your upgrade.

Step 4: Press the “Start the update” button. After that, be sure to maintain a constant WiFi or phone service, keep the earbuds and connected device powered on and close together to maintain the Bluetooth connection, and do not exit the Skullcandy App (this can update in the background, but the app must continue running).

Once the update process has finished, you will be notified that the firmware update was successfully completed.
