How To Wear These Earbuds?

Step 1: Take both earbuds out of the charging case.

Step 2: Identify the left and right earbuds.

Step 3: Choose the ear tips that best suit your ears.

Step 4: Insert the headphones into the inner canal of the ears.

Step 5: Rotate for the best possible comfort and best fit, and make sure that the microphone is pointing to the mouth.

How To Turn On And Off?

Turn On

Automatically: Open the lid of the charging case and take the earbuds out. After that, a blue light will start flashing, and they will turn on automatically.

Manually: Press and hold the multifunction touch area on both earbuds for about 2 seconds.

Turn Off

Automatically: Place the earbuds into the charging case. After that, the earbuds will turn off automatically.

Manually: Press and hold the multifunction touch area on both earbuds for about 4 seconds.

How To Pair The Earbuds?

To Android Or iOS Devices

Step 1: Take the earbuds out of the case and remove stickers from charging contact points. We recommend you put the earbuds back into the case to charge for about 30 minutes before first use. Be sure the LEDs on the earbuds turn red, meaning that they are now charging.

Step 2: Once charged, remove the earbuds from the case to initiate pairing. Both earbuds will automatically power on and the LEDs will simultaneously flash blue while they sync to each other.

NOTE: If the earbuds don’t turn on automatically, then press and hold the multifunction touch area on both earbuds for about 2 seconds, until the LEDs will simultaneously flash blue while the earbuds sync to each other.

Once the earbuds have synced together, you’ll hear a voice prompt that says “Pairing”, and a red and blue light flashing only on the left earbud.

Step 3: Unlock the desired device.

Step 4: Go to the device’s settings.

Step 5: Turn on Bluetooth on the desired device.

Step 6: Search for a new device.

Step 7: Select the Dime 2 earbuds. If a password is needed, type “0000”. After that, the “Connected” voice prompt will sound, and the pairing will be done.

To Windows (PC)

Step 1: Turn on Window’s Bluetooth.

Step 2: Go to the settings.

Step 3: Go to “Bluetooth and other devices”.

Step 4: Click on “Add device”.

Step 5: Click on Bluetooth.

How To Re-Sync The Earbuds?

Step 1: Open the lid of the charging case and take the earbuds out. After that, a blue light will start flashing, and they will turn on automatically. Also, you can press and hold the multifunction touch area on both earbuds for about 2 seconds to turn them on manually.

Step 2: Once powered on (they can be in a connected or non-connected state), press the multifunction touch area on both earbuds four times to start the earbuds’ re-sync pairing mode (earbuds connecting to each other).

A red and blue light will start flashing on the earbuds momentarily as they re-sync. Once successful the “Connected” voice prompt will sound, and a blue light will start flashing.

Step 3: If they were connected to the device, the earbuds will automatically reconnect to the device and will be ready to stream in stereo audio (sound will play from both earbuds).

Pairing To A Second Device

If you have already set up and paired to one device, you can easily pair to another device by following these simple steps:

Step 1: Manually power off the earbuds by pressing and holding the multifunction touch area on both earbuds for about 4 seconds.

With the earbuds off, press and hold the multifunction touch area on both earbuds again for 4 seconds. This will manually power them on, sync, and then enter directly into pairing mode. At this time, a red and blue light flashing only on the left earbud, meaning that they are now ready to pair with any device.

Step 4: Turn on Bluetooth.

Step 5: Search for a new device.

How To Control These Earbuds? – Stereo Mode

• Play or pause a song: Press the multifunction touch area on any of the earbuds one time.
• Turn the volume up: Press the multifunction touch area on the right earbud two times.
• Turn the volume down: Press the multifunction touch area on the left earbud two times.
• Play the next song: Press and hold the multifunction touch area on the right earbud for about 1 second.
• Play the previous song: Press and hold the multifunction touch area on the left earbud for about 1 second.
• Answer an incoming call: Press the multifunction touch area on any of the earbuds one time.
• End a current call: Press the multifunction touch area on any of the earbuds one time.
• Activate the voice assistant: Press the multifunction touch area on any of the earbuds three times.

How To Activate The Mono Mode?

To activate or deactivate the mono mode in these earbuds, all you have to do is to pair the earbuds to the device and take out one of the earbuds from the charging case. It will start working by itself.

How To Charge The Earbuds?

To charge the earbuds, all you have to do is to place them into the charging case. The earbuds will start charging automatically.

To charge the charging case, all you have to do is to connect the case to a USB charger or charging port. It will start charging automatically.

How To Reset The Paired Device List?

If the earbuds don’t have audio streaming as they should, or they are having pairing issues, please proceed to fully reset the paired device list of the earbuds with the following steps:

Step 1: Delete all the pairing information from the earbuds on the connected device.

Step 2: Turn off Bluetooth on the desired device.

Step 3: Take the earbuds out of the charging case. After that, a blue light will start flashing, and they will turn on automatically.

Step 4: Ensure that the earbuds are in a non-connected state, and press the multifunction touch area on both earbuds two times.

Step 5: Press and hold the multifunction touch area on both earbuds for about 2 seconds.

This will automatically reset the paired device list and enter directly back into pairing mode. You will hear the voice prompt “Pairing” and only the left bud will begin to flash red and blue.

Step 6: Go to the device’s settings.

Step 7: Turn on Bluetooth on the desired device.

Step 8: Search for a new device.

What Does The Lights Mean?

Earbuds

• A blue light flashing: The earbuds are syncing to each other.
• A red and blue light flashing: The earbuds are in pairing mode.
• A red light on while on the charging case: The earbuds are charging.
• Said red light turns off while on the charging case: The earbuds are fully charged.
• A red light flashes every 5 seconds: The earbuds have a low battery.

Charging Case

• A green light on while charging: The case is fully charged.

Although these earbuds do not have a specialized app, they can be used together with one, and it is the Tile app. This app is made to keep track of the earbuds, plus it is a great help in case one or both of the earbuds get lost, plus it keeps the history of where the earbuds have been. To connect, all you have to do is follow a few simple steps:

Step 1: Download and open the Tile app on your smartphone or tablet.

Step 2: Tap the + on the top left corner of the screen.

Step 3: On the Add a Device page, choose Skullcandy and select the Tile enabled headphones.

Step 4: Press the button on your Tile device and listen to the tune.

Step 5: Hold the Tile close to your device until they connect. It should take about ten seconds.

After that, the earbuds will be activated with Tile.

Some Common Problems & Troubleshooting

Left/Right/One side of the earbuds has stopped working

If this happens, it may be because it is low on battery or it did not connect correctly with the device. To fix this, you can do the following:

The microphone is not working

If this happens, it can be because the microphone is muted, or the earbuds are badly positioned. To fix this, you can do the following:

If the microphone is muted, check the device microphone volume. If that doesn’t work, that means that there might be a defect in the earbud, so try replacing them or get a refund.

The earbuds are not connecting to Windows/laptop/PC

If the earbuds are earbuds not connecting, it can be because the Bluetooth on the computer has a pairing problem. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try disabling Bluetooth from nearby devices >>> then activate the pairing mode of the earbuds, pair and connect earbuds from Settings >>> Bluetooth & other devices >>> Add a new device >>>> select Bluetooth.

2. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Bluetooth driver, or updating the Bluetooth driver. All can be done in Manage >>> Device Manager, reset earbuds (if available), and then repeat the step.

3. Try resetting the earbuds.
