How To Wear These Earbuds?

Step 1: Take both earbuds out of the charging case.

Step 2: Identify the left and right earbuds.

Step 3: Choose the ear tips that best suit your ears.

Step 4: Insert the headphones into the inner canal of the ears.

Step 5: Rotate for the best possible comfort and best fit, and make sure that the microphone is pointing to the mouth.

How To Turn On And Off?

Turn On

Automatically: Open the lid of the charging case and take the earbuds out. After that, a voice prompt will sound, and they will turn on automatically.

Manually: Press and hold the multifunction touch area on both earbuds for about 2 seconds. After that, a voice prompt will sound, and they will turn on.

Turn Off

Automatically: Place the earbuds into the charging case. After that, the earbuds will turn off automatically.

Manually: Press and hold the multifunction touch area on both earbuds for about 4 seconds. After that, the earbuds will turn off.

How To Pair The Earbuds?

To Android Or iOS Devices

Step 1: Take the earbuds out of the charging case, and remove the protective stickers from the charging points.

Step 2: Place the earbuds into the charging case. Be sure the LEDs on the earbuds turn red, meaning that they are now charging.

Step 3: Take the earbuds out of the charging case. After that, a voice prompt will sound, and they will turn on automatically.

NOTE: If the earbuds don’t turn on automatically, then press and hold the multifunction touch area on both earbuds for about 2 seconds.

Step 4: Unlock the desired device.

Step 5: Go to the device’s settings.

Step 6: Turn on Bluetooth on the desired device.

Step 7: Search for a new device.

Step 8: Select the Jib True 2 earbuds. If a password is needed, type “0000”. After that, a blue light will turn on, and the pairing will be done.

To Windows (PC)

Step 1: Turn on Window’s Bluetooth.

Step 2: Go to the settings.

Step 3: Go to “Bluetooth and other devices”.

Step 4: Click on “Add device”.

Step 5: Click on Bluetooth.

Step 6: Take the earbuds out of the charging case, and remove the protective stickers from the charging points.

How To Re-Sync The Earbuds?

Automatically

If there is an audio problem in one of the earbuds, then try re-sync them. To do this, you have two options, automatic and manual re-syncing. First, try the auto version, by doing the following steps:

Step 1: Place the earbuds into the charging case and ensure that the light in both earbuds is red, meaning that they are charging.

Step 2: Take the earbuds out of the case, and they should be playing audio just fine.

Manually

If there is an audio problem in one of the earbuds, then try re-sync them. To do this, all you have to do is to do the following steps:

Step 1: Turn off Bluetooth on the device.

Step 2: Place the earbuds into the charging case and keep the lid open.

Step 3: Take the earbuds out of the charging case. After that, a voice prompt will sound, and they will turn on automatically.

Step 4: Press the multifunction touch area on both earbuds 4 times. A blue and red light will start flashing as they re-sync, and once successful, a blue light will flash 4 times in both earbuds.

Step 5: Go to the device’s settings.

Step 6: Turn on Bluetooth on the desired device.

Step 7: Search for a new device.

Step 8: Select the Jib True 2 earbuds if they have not automatically reconnected to the device. After that, a blue light will flash one time, a voice prompt will sound, and the re-syncing will be done.

How To Control These Earbuds? – Stereo Mode

• Play or pause a song: Press the multifunction touch area on any of the earbuds one time.
• Turn the volume up: Press the multifunction touch area on the right earbud two times.
• Turn the volume down: Press the multifunction touch area on the left earbud two times.
• Play the next song: Press and hold the multifunction touch area on the right earbud for about 2 seconds.
• Play the previous song: Press and hold the multifunction touch area on the left earbud for about 2 seconds.
• Answer an incoming call: Press the multifunction touch area on any of the earbuds one time.
• End a current call: Press the multifunction touch area on any of the earbuds one time.
• Activate the voice assistant: Press the multifunction touch area on any of the earbuds three times.

How To Activate The Mono Mode?

To activate or deactivate the mono mode in these earbuds, all you have to do is to pair the earbuds to the device and take out one of the earbuds from the charging case. It will start working by itself.

How To Charge The Earbuds?

Earbuds

To charge the earbuds, all you have to do is to place them into the charging case. The earbuds will start charging automatically.

Charging Case

To charge the charging case, all you have to do is to connect the case to a USB charger or charging port. It will start charging automatically.

How To Reset The Earbuds?

Step 1: To ensure ease of re-pairing, delete all the pairing information from the earbuds on the connected device.

Step 2: Turn off Bluetooth on the desired device.

Step 3: Take the earbuds out of the charging case. After that, a voice prompt will sound, and they will turn on automatically.

Step 4: Press the multifunction touch area on both earbuds two times.

Step 5: Press and hold the multifunction touch area on both earbuds for about 2 seconds.

After that, a red light will flash two times on the earbuds, followed by a blue light also flashing two times. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode.

What Does The Lights Mean?

Earbuds

• A blue light on: The earbuds are connected.
• A red light on while on the charging case: The earbuds are charging.
• Said red light turns off while on the charging case: The earbuds are fully charged.
• A red light flashes every 5 seconds: The earbuds have a low battery.
• A red and blue light flashing while re-syncing: The earbuds are re-syncing.
• A blue light flashing 4 times while re-syncing: The re-syncing is done.
• A blue light flashing 1 time while re-syncing: The earbuds have reconnected to the device.
• A red light flashes 2 times while resetting: The earbuds are resetting.
• A blue light flashes 2 times while resetting: The earbuds are resetting.

Charging Case

• The light flashes one time: The case has a low battery (less than 25%).
• The light flashes two times: The case has a medium battery (between 25% and 75%).
• The light flashes three times: The case has a high battery (more than 75%).
• The light is on while charging: The case is charging.
• The light turns off while charging: The case is fully charged.

Although these earbuds do not have a specialized app, they can be used together with one, and it is the Tile app. This app is made to keep track of the earbuds, plus it is a great help in case one or both of the earbuds get lost, plus it keeps the history of where the earbuds have been. To connect, all you have to do is follow a few simple steps:

Step 1: Download and open the Tile app on your smartphone or tablet.

Step 2: Tap the + on the top left corner of the screen.

Step 3: On the Add a Device page, choose Skullcandy and select the Tile-enabled headphones.

Step 4: Press the button on your Tile device and listen to the tune.

Step 5: Hold the Tile close to your device until they connect. It should take about ten seconds.

After that, the earbuds will be activated with Tile.

Some Common Problems & Troubleshooting

Left/Right/One side of the earbuds has stopped working

If this happens, it may be because it is low on battery or it did not connect correctly with the device. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try charging the earbud that is not working or both, placing them in the charging case.

2. Try factory resetting the earbuds.

3. Check if the earbuds are operating within a normal working range

If that doesn’t work, the earbud is probably faulty, and I can go for a refund or replacement of it.

Left/Right/One side of the earbuds has a low volume

If this happens, it may be because the earbuds are dirty or the volume is set low. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try cleaning the earbud using a cotton swab or carefully clean the mesh with a pin.

2. Try factory resetting the earbuds.

The microphone is not working

If this happens, it can be because the microphone is muted, or the earbuds are badly positioned. To fix this, you can do the following:

If the microphone is muted, check the device microphone volume. If that doesn’t work, that means that there might be a defect in the earbud, so try replacing them or get a refund.

The earbuds are not connecting to Windows/laptop/PC

If the earbuds are earbuds not connecting, it can be because the Bluetooth on the computer has a pairing problem. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try disabling Bluetooth from nearby devices >>> then activate the pairing mode of the earbuds, pair and connect earbuds from Settings >>> Bluetooth & other devices >>> Add a new device >>>> select Bluetooth.

2. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Bluetooth driver, or updating the Bluetooth driver. All can be done in Manage >>> Device Manager, reset earbuds (if available), and then repeat the step.

3. Try resetting the earbuds.
