Soundcore Life A1 Manual | How to Pair / Connect?

To iOS and Android phones

Step 1: Take the earbuds out of the charging case. They will turn on and pair to each other automatically and a white LED light will flash quickly on the earbuds.

Step 2: Turn on the Bluetooth on the desired device.

Step 3: Go to the Bluetooth settings.

Step 4: Select the “Soundcore Life A1”. If a password is needed, type “0000”.

Step 5: After that, the pairing will be done, and a white LED light will blink every 5 seconds.

To PC (Windows)

Step 1: Turn on Window’s Bluetooth.

Step 2: Go to the settings.

Step 3: Go to “Bluetooth and other devices”.

Step 4: Click on “Add device”.

Step 5: Click on Bluetooth.

Step 6: Take the earbuds out of the charging case. They will turn on and pair to each other automatically and a white LED light will flash quickly on the earbuds.

Step 7: The earbuds by the name “Soundcore Life A1” will appear on the settings.

Step 8: Select and, after that, the pairing will be done, and a white LED light will blink every 5 seconds.

The earbuds go into stereo mode automatically after being paired with each other. To enter mono mode, all you have to do is to place one of the earbuds into the charging case, and the other one will enter mono mode automatically.

Turn on

Method 1: Take the earbuds out of the charging case. They will turn on automatically.

Method 2: Press the touch panel on both earbuds for 1 second until a white LED light turns on for 1 second.

Turn off

Method 1: Place the earbuds into the charging case. They will turn off automatically.

Method 2: Press the touch panel on both earbuds for 8 seconds until a red LED light turns on for 1 second.

• Play or pause music: Click on the touch panel on the right earbud twice.
• Play the next song: Click on the touch panel on the left earbud twice.
• Turn the volume up: Click on the touch panel on any of the earbuds once.
• Turn the volume down: Click on the touch panel on any of the earbuds once.
• Adjust equalizer settings: Click on the touch panel on any of the earbuds three times.
• Answer an incoming call: Click on the touch panel on any of the earbuds once.
• Hang up a call: Click on the touch panel on any of the earbuds once.
• Answer a second incoming call and put the current call on hold: Click on the touch panel on any of the earbuds once.

Earbuds

• White LED light flashing rapidly: Bluetooth pairing.
• White LED light flashing every 5 seconds: Earbuds connected.
• White LED light flashing for 1 second: Earbuds turned on.
• Red LED light flashing for 1 second: Earbuds turned off.
• LED light in one earbud flashing rapidly and in other earbud flashing slowly: Reset successful.

Charging case

• One light flashing: 30% or less of battery.
• One light on and one flashing: 30 to 70% of battery.
• Two lights on and one flashing: 70% or more of battery.
• Three lights on: Charging case fully charged.

Earbuds

To charge the earbuds, all you have to do is to place them into the charging case and close the lid. The earbuds will start charging automatically.

Charging Case

To charge the charging case, all you have to do is plug a 5V USB Type-C cable into the port on the charging case. It will start charging automatically.

Step 1: Place the earbuds into the charging case, and make sure they are charging.

Step 2: Long press the touch panel on both earbuds for 8 seconds. After that, a LED light will blink red 3 times.

Step 3: Take the earbuds out of the charging case.

Step 4: Wait until the LED light in one earbud starts flashing rapidly, and in the other earbud starts flashing slowly.

Step 5: After that, the resetting will be done.

The Soundcore Life A1 can be used with an application, called Soundcore. This application is available for iOS and Android devices. 

• First page: The first page of this application is the home page, where you can see the battery percentage of both earbuds, as well as the Ambient Sound, Tip Fit Test and equalizer settings and controls.
• Second page: Not only will you be able to see the controls available on the earbuds, but they can also be activated, deactivated or changed if desired.

Some Common Earbuds Problems & Troubleshooting

Left / Right / One side of the earbuds have stopped working

If this happens, it may be because it is low on battery or it did not connect correctly with the device. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try charging the earbud that is not working or both, placing them in the charging case.

2. Try factory reset the earbuds.

3. Check if the earbuds are operating within a normal working range

If that doesn’t work, the earbud is probably faulty, and I can go for a refund or replacement of it.

Left / Right / One side of the earbuds has low volume

If this happens, it may be because the earbuds are dirty or the volume is set low. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try cleaning the earbud using a cotton swab or carefully clean the mesh with a pin.

2. Try factory reset the earbuds.

Microphone not working

If this happens, it can be because the microphone is muted, or the earbuds are badly positioned. To fix this, you can do the following:

If the microphone is muted, check the device microphone volume. If that doesn’t work, that means that there might be a defect in the earbud, so try replacing them or get a refund.

Soundcore Life A1 earbuds not connecting to Windows/laptop/PC

If the earbuds are earbuds not connecting, it can be because the Bluetooth on the computer has a pairing problem. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try disabling Bluetooth from nearby devices >>> then activate pairing mode of the earbuds, pair and connect earbuds from Settings >>> Bluetooth & other devices >>> Add a new device >>>> elect Bluetooth,

2. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Bluetooth driver, or update the Bluetooth driver. All can be done in Manage >>> Device Manager, reset earbuds (if available), and then repeat the step.

3. Try resetting the earbuds as said in the pairing section above.
