Some Common Problems & Troubleshooting

Left/Right/One side of the earbuds has stopped working

If this happens, it may be because it is low on battery or it did not connect correctly with the device. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try charging the earbud that is not working or both, placing them in the charging case.

2. Try factory resetting the earbuds.

3. Check if the earbuds are operating within a normal working range

If that doesn’t work, the earbud is probably faulty, and I can go for a refund or replacement of it.

Left/Right/One side of the earbuds has a low volume

If this happens, it may be because the earbuds are dirty or the volume is set low. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try cleaning the earbud using a cotton swab or carefully clean the mesh with a pin.

2. Try factory resetting the earbuds.

The microphone is not working

If this happens, it can be because the microphone is muted, or the earbuds are badly positioned. To fix this, you can do the following:

If the microphone is muted, check the device microphone volume. If that doesn’t work, that means that there might be a defect in the earbuds, so try replacing them or getting a refund.

The earbuds are not connecting to Windows/laptop/PC

If the earbuds are earbuds not connecting, it can be because the Bluetooth on the computer has a pairing problem. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try disabling Bluetooth from nearby devices >>> then activate the pairing mode of the earbuds, pair and connect earbuds from Settings >>> Bluetooth & other devices >>> Add a new device >>>> Select Bluetooth.

2. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Bluetooth driver, or updating the Bluetooth driver. All can be done in Manage >>> Device Manager, reset earbuds (if available), and then repeat the step.

3. Try resetting the earbuds.

  1. I purchased my earbuds 18 months ago, and now charging case stops charging. (The lights no longer appear and the buds do not work). I tried changing the charging source as well as the usb cable, but to no avail.
    Any suggestions to resolve this?
    THANKS.

  2. What the heck is the POINT of the charging case having its own lights and being able to be charged up? Because if I disconnect it from the USB C cable power source it just shuts off lol? I thought the point is it’s meant to be able to work standalone…? But it has to be plugged in all the time so WTF does it have its own battery and charge indicator?

  3. I just finished the TOZO A-1 earbuds from Amazon. I’ve tried literally everything to get them to connect to my Android. I have deleted my television my laptop and my JLAB Epic earbuds. When I take the TOZO’s out of their case, my phone recognizes them but when I touch the line on screen nothing happens. And I mean literally nothing. The listing will change color when I touch it but nothing happens no pairing attempt nothing. I’m pretty technologically savvy I’ve never had a problem connecting any other of my Bluetooth devices. I’m quite literally at my wits end with this.
    Suggestions?

  4. My earbuds work fine on my android phone. However when I connect them to my PC the volume pulses up and down continually. Almost as if the audio is being turned on and off rapidly. May need to return these.

    1. Have exactly the same experience, using multiple bluetooth dongles, I sent a pair back thinking they were defective. Works fine on my Android phone though.
