Some Common Problems & Troubleshooting

Left/Right/One side of the earbuds has stopped working

If this happens, it may be because it is low on battery or it did not connect correctly with the device. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try charging the earbud that is not working or both, placing them in the charging case.

2. Try factory resetting the earbuds.

3. Check if the earbuds are operating within a normal working range

If that doesn’t work, the earbud is probably faulty, and I can go for a refund or replacement of it.

Left/Right/One side of the earbuds has a low volume

If this happens, it may be because the earbuds are dirty or the volume is set low. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try cleaning the earbud using a cotton swab or carefully clean the mesh with a pin.

2. Try factory resetting the earbuds.

The microphone is not working

If this happens, it can be because the microphone is muted, or the earbuds are badly positioned. To fix this, you can do the following:

If the microphone is muted, check the device microphone volume. If that doesn’t work, that means that there might be a defect in the earbuds, so try replacing them or getting a refund.

The earbuds are not connecting to Windows/laptop/PC

If the earbuds are earbuds not connecting, it can be because the Bluetooth on the computer has a pairing problem. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try disabling Bluetooth from nearby devices >>> then activate the pairing mode of the earbuds, pair and connect earbuds from Settings >>> Bluetooth & other devices >>> Add a new device >>>> Select Bluetooth.

2. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Bluetooth driver, or updating the Bluetooth driver. All can be done in Manage >>> Device Manager, reset earbuds (if available), and then repeat the step.

3. Try resetting the earbuds.

  1. Hello! I’m having issues with the right side of my tozo t6 headphones! It randomly disconnected twice and it won’t turn back on, yet the left side works! Tried resetting, but the right one won’t turn on to do that, whenever it charges, it glows red, turns blue, then turns off. When I take it back OUT of the charging case, it still goes off and won’t come back on. Please help!

    1. Well, you can charge the case while the earbuds are in it. Just be sure to use a standard charger (10W) while charging them.

These earbuds work on laptops, tablets, and phones any device with Bluetooth in it. They work on my Windows 10 laptop, but I’m not sure about Mac.
Oh, and I do see users complaining that these earbuds don’t connect on some laptops. Windows Bluetooth pairing is quite controversial as many devices don’t usually pair with Windows laptop.

  2. recently purchased the T6’s and have a problem, the continously turn off, then turn on every five minutes. very frustrating. Any idea what might be causing this?

  3. I just bought my tozo t6 earbuds the sound is perfect but the left one don’t respond to my touch what can I do? I try to put the volume down and don’t work .. what can I do?

    1. Yes. Go to settings, turn on Bluetooth, remove earbuds from case. You will immediately see a list of Bluetooth devices come up under “Audio”. One should be the Tozo T6. The ear bud’s blue lights will begin to blink as it pairs with your computer’s Bluetooth. You will then be able to listen to anything audio on your computer through the earbuds. I’m 71 years old and I did it in less than 5 minutes, so your younger (I assume) brain should have no problems. Good luck!

  4. I have inadvertently swapped the volume control on my Tozo T-6. The right bud decreases volume and the left bud increases volume. How can I put this back to factory settings. Thanks.

  5. Have had my going on 2 years now I love them but case has stopped charging the left spot so I had to charge them both separately now 🙁

  6. I bought these headphones earlier this year and they have been working fine, recently the left one stopped pairing and even after a successful reset only the Right earbud connects

  7. Hello i have a replacement right ear bud and it will not pair with the original left earbud. I have tried everything including a successful reset. Both earbuds pair SEPARATELY to my device, but not each other. If I pair both with my phone, only the last one to be paired works. Please advise.

    1. Hi Mel!
I don’t think it’s possible to pair both of them together. Each earbud (L) and (R) work together for their given factory earbud pair. If you manage to grab a spare one, it will connect separately. That is why when you pair both of them to the phone, the last one works (R or L) while the previous one gets disconnected. Some phones have dual Bluetooth mode as well, which may connect both earbuds at the same time.

      1. Oh that’s so weird because this is my second replacement and the first replacement synced with the original left, and they worked fine in both ears together. So you’re saying once you lose one, you can never have stereo sound again? Unless you have dual BT. That’s rough

        1. Yes, I think so. I had QCY T5, got two of them. One of the pairs had a defective left earbud, I tried to replace it with the other pair’s L but was not able to pair and synchronize them together. The same happened to my Edifier X3. TWS earbuds are notorious for getting one of the earbuds faulty after use of few days or a month. I had many readers complaining that even the expensive earbuds from Bose, Raycon, and Powerbeats had this problem. Good thing was that they were in warranty so the manufacturer send a new set of earbuds to them.

I think it depends on the manufacturer and the brand’s support might be able to answer whether and why the earbuds (one original and the other spare) are not able to pair together and synchronize for a stereo effect.

          1. Gotchu. I’ve been doing a deep dive on tozo inter-bud pairing and there’s not much one can do since it’s automatic. All you can do is reset. I’ll keep looking though. Thanks for your help – cheers

  8. I am starting to have problems syncing w my IPhone. Can you please tell me where the control oanel is and how do you turn the volume up?

    1. They don’t have any dedicated app, instead, you can only control them from the earbuds, just tap on either L and R to decrease and increase volume. Or you can use the volume buttons/bar of the phone to increase and decrease the volume.

  9. Terribly hard to pair even after following instructions. Not easy to use. I wish I would have gotten the Apple ones like my husband did.

  10. I can get these to pair just fine with my Samsung Galaxy S10, but when I want to use them on my HP laptop, I can’t get them to pair. I’m not sure what I need to do. It’s a little annoying that you can only pair these to one device at a time. I hope future models will change that lack of feature. I do mostly use these with my phone, but sometimes I want to use my laptop and it’s really irritating not to be able to pair there.

    1. You mean the dual pair feature. Yes, that’s not present in Tozo T6 and even most of the budget-friendly earbuds. However, I don’t think if there’s that much effort in simply turning on your phone’s Bluetooth off and then connect to the laptop’s Bluetooth. For pairing, you just need to one time pair on a device, after that just connect and pair. You might need to activate the pairing mode of the earbuds if they are not in pairing mode.
I think Tozo T6 automatically disconnects when you turn off the Bluetooth.

  11. I purchased these in January and have used sparingly. Failure to get both to pair. Did the reset but all I get is rapidly blinking red and blue on one and the other won’t turn off

  12. My earbuds are connecting to some device and I don’t know where it is or what it is, I have no known devices it could possibly be connected to. this has become an issue because I cannot find it on my own devices to connect them to. How do I fix this issue?

  13. I have lost one T6 from a pair two times. I would like to use the two (from different sets) as a new set but I can only pair them as two bluetooth devices. Can I get these two to act as one set?

    1. You can try pairing both of them separately if the phone supports a dual Bluetooth option. For me, it’s in Bluetooth >>>three dots on the top right corner>>>Dual audio. The first pair the two earbuds separately then run them in dual mode.

      1. Trying to pair a second set of Tozo 6 to my Aisidro bluetooth transmitter. It does flashing red and blue mode but keeps flashing blue to indicate not paring.

  14. Can I leave the earbuds in the charging case all the time without overcharging them and possibly ruining them?

    1. No, that’s completely fine. All tws earbuds can be put in the charging case for as long as you want. They automatically disconnect from the charging case once they are completely charged. Just don’t charge the charging case with a high power adapter, especially with the earbuds in it.

  15. On phone calls, other person compains about background noise like traffic and birds chirping. Cananything be done to reduce microphone input volume or increase gain?
