Tronsmart introduced the Tronsmart Apollo Bold with specs like a 10mm driver unit, cVc 8.0 call noise cancellation with 6 microphones, a Qualcomm QCC5124 chip, and much more. Today we are going to teach you how to use them in the correct way through this new Tronsmart Apollo Bold Manual.

Tronsmart Apollo Bold Manual | How to Pair / Connect?

To iOS and Android phones

Step 1: Take the earbuds out of the charging case. They will turn on and pair to each other automatically and a LED light will flash red and white alternately.

Step 2: Turn on the Bluetooth on the desired device.

Step 3: Go to the Bluetooth settings.

Step 4: Select the “Tronsmart Apollo Bold”. If a password is needed, type “0000”.

Step 5: After that, the pairing will be done.

To PC (Windows)

Step 1: Turn on Window’s Bluetooth.

Step 2: Go to the settings.

Step 3: Go to “Bluetooth and other devices”.

Step 4: Click on “Add device”.

Step 5: Click on Bluetooth.

Step 6: Take the earbuds out of the charging case. They will turn on and pair to each other automatically and a LED light will flash red and white alternately.

Step 7: The earbuds by the name “Tronsmart Apollo Bold” will appear on the settings.

Step 8: Select and, after that, the pairing will be done.

Step 1: Take the earbuds out of the charging case. They will turn on and pair to each other automatically and a LED light will flash red and white alternately.

Step 2: Tap and hold the touch panel on both earbuds for 5 seconds until a red LED light flashes three times.

Step 3: Put both earbuds into the charging case after the lights go off.

Step 4: Go to the Bluetooth settings.

Turn on: Take the earbuds out of the charging case. They will turn on automatically.

Turn off: Place the earbuds into the charging case. They will turn off automatically.

To activate ANC, all you have to do is to click the touch panel on any of the earbuds three times.

• Play or pause music: Tap on the touch panel on any of the earbuds twice.
• Play the next song: Press the touch panel on the right earbud for 2 seconds.
• Play the previous song: Press the touch panel on the left earbud for 2 seconds.
• Turn the volume up: Tap on the touch panel on the right earbud once.
• Turn the volume down: Tap on the touch panel on the left earbud once.
• Answer an incoming call: Tap on the touch panel on any of the earbuds twice.
• Hang up a call: Tap on the touch panel on any of the earbuds twice.
• Reject an incoming call: Press the touch panel on any of the earbuds for 2 seconds.
• Turn on/off Ambient sound mode: Tap the touch panel on any of the earbuds threetimes.
• Activate the Voice Assistant: Tap and hold the touch panel on any of the earbuds.

Earbuds

To charge the earbuds, all you have to do is to place them into the charging case and close the lid. The earbuds will start charging automatically.

Charging Case

To charge the charging case, all you have to do is plug a 5V USB Type-C cable into the port on the charging case. It will start charging automatically.

Earbuds

• White light flashes quickly: Earbuds on but not paired to any device.
• White light flashes slowly: Earbuds on and connected to a device.
• Red and white lights flashing quickly: Pairing mode on.
• Red light flashes quickly: The battery level is low and the earbuds are paired to any device.
• Red light flashes slowly: The battery level is low and the earbuds are connected to a device.
• Red light flashes rapidly twice: Earbuds charging and have a battery level lower than 10%.
• Red light flashes slowly: Earbuds charging and have a battery level higher than 10%.
• Red light goes off: Earbuds fully charged.

Charging case

• Red light flashing: Case charging.
• Red light goes off: Case fully charged.
• White light flashes quickly: The battery level is higher than 10%.
• Red light flashing quickly: The battery level is lower than 10%.

Step 1: Take the earbuds out of the charging case.

Step 2: Tap the touch panel on both earbuds five times respectively, then you can pair the left and right earbuds. After this, a LED light will flash red twice and white in sequence, to then turn into a white light flashing slowly.

Step 3: After that, the resetting will be done.

Tronsmart Apollo Bold Manual | How to Update the Firmware?

Step 1: Download the Tronsmart APP on App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)

Step 2: Download the firmware and wait for the installation to be completed. It should be noted that, during the installation process, it’ll disconnect the earbuds and then reconnect automatically.

Step 3: After this process is done, update the other earbud in the same way. Make sure that both earbuds are successfully updated separately.

Step 4: When both earbuds are successfully updated separately, the process will be done.

A Guide To Tronsmart Apollo Bold APP

The Tronsmart Apollo Bold can be used with an application, called Tronsmart. This application is available for iOS and Android devices. 

• First page: After entering the application and connecting to the earbuds, on the first page we will get the percentage of the battery of each earbud.
• Second page: On the second page, there is the equalizer, where the user can choose between different types of music, such as Deep Bass, 3D, Classical, Rock and more.
• Third page: On the third page, not only will you be able to see the controls that are available in the earbuds, but you will also be able to modify them as desired.

Some Common Earbuds Problems & Troubleshooting

Left / Right / One side of the earbuds have stopped working

If this happens, it may be because it is low on battery or it did not connect correctly with the device. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try charging the earbud that is not working or both, placing them in the charging case.

2. Try factory reset the earbuds.

3. Check if the earbuds are operating within a normal working range

If that doesn’t work, the earbud is probably faulty, and I can go for a refund or replacement of it.

Left / Right / One side of the earbuds has low volume

If this happens, it may be because the earbuds are dirty or the volume is set low. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try cleaning the earbud using a cotton swab or carefully clean the mesh with a pin.

2. Try factory reset the earbuds.

Microphone not working

If this happens, it can be because the microphone is muted, or the earbuds are badly positioned. To fix this, you can do the following:

If the microphone is muted, check the device microphone volume. If that doesn’t work, that means that there might be a defect in the earbud, so try replacing them or get a refund.

Tronsmart Apollo Bold earbuds not connecting to Windows/laptop/PC

If the earbuds are earbuds not connecting, it can be because the Bluetooth on the computer has a pairing problem. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try disabling Bluetooth from nearby devices >>> then activate pairing mode of the earbuds, pair and connect earbuds from Settings >>> Bluetooth & other devices >>> Add a new device >>>> elect Bluetooth,

2. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Bluetooth driver, or update the Bluetooth driver. All can be done in Manage >>> Device Manager, reset earbuds (if available), and then repeat the step.

3. Try resetting the earbuds as said in the pairing section above.
