This time it is equipped with 48 MP wide-angle triple-shot (the triple camera trend), where the primary camera (the circled one) has 48 MP, 1/2.0-inch photosensitive element, f/1.79 large aperture. The secondary ones are 13 MP 13mm ultrawide sensor, and a 5 MP, f/2.4, depth sensor. Thankfully, the OIS feature is there resulting in stable video shooting at 4K (30fps) maximum. This time around, the images were highly detailed but the crisp and the sharpness were missing. Overall, the images looked somewhat dull and white exposure was common. Daylight Samples (7/10) The ambient light appears to be sufficient, the details are incredible thanks to the secondary in-depth sensor. With the background blur, there’s a nice difference between the focused object and background. The edges of the object are sharp and not blurred when the background blur is applied. The image’s corners are also clearly showing a sign of quality wide-angle camera shot. However, as previously said, the images lack brightness and contract. Is it me who thinks that the images aren’t natural but overexposed. Maybe the camera software isn’t optimized. However, after using a third-party camera app with filters, the spark in the images are restored. Camera Sample with a Strong Backlight The X27 upgraded the super-backlight that was previously well received on the X23. In the extreme backlighting environment seen above, the output is bright and detailed, and the tone transition is natural. The petals in the backlit environment are natural, clear and bright. Macro Mode (8/10) As shown above, the vivo X27 also features a 2.5cm super macro function. When the camera lens is close to photographs such as flowers and plants, it can automatically and accurately focus quickly and record many details. Ultra-Wide Sample (9/10) The vivo X27 is equipped with a 13-megapixel 120° super wide-angle lens. As shown in the above picture, if we can’t meet the shooting needs of ordinary mobile phones in front of the magnificent buildings, the X27’s large wide angle will come in handy. Ultra Wide Angle turned off Ultra Wide Angle turned on Nightlight Samples (8/10) In the dark environment, the 4 pixels of the IMX586 form a 1.6μm large pixel to maximize noise reduction. Super Night Scene Mode The phone automatically recognizes the shooting environment and prompt to turn on night scene mode. In this mode, it quickly shoots 12~16 photos, automatically select frames to achieve dynamic satisfaction, and achieve nightlight photos with low noise and pure picture in dark light environment. In short, the wide angle, night scene mode, and the macro mode serve as the highlights of the camera and probably the Vivo X27 review itself. However, the brightness and sharpness aren’t as great during the daytime, as the camera specification itself. Continued on Page 5 (Battery Life)
