1) Online Video Test

An online video was played on 70% brightness, 50% volume. Starting from 100% power, after 60 minutes the remaining power was 92%. The power consumption appears to be 8% per hour. According to such a power-down rate, the phone can easily play online video playback for up to 12 hours.

2) Gaming Test

The gaming test was conducted with the game known as ‘PUBG Mobile’ on default quality and frames.

Starting from 93% of power, after 30 minutes of gameplay, the remaining power is 86%. The power consumption is 7%. According to this estimation, one can play PUBG Mobile for nearly 6 hours continuously.

3) Charging Test

The X27 comes with Vivo FlashCharge with a maximum charging power of 22.5W. Combined with the 4000mAh large battery one can say goodbye to the slow charging.

The test is started when the battery is 5%, WiFi connected, no SIM and 10 minutes interval. It took 100 minutes to charge from 5% to complete 100%. It’s similar to the standard QC 3.0 charging but slow in comparison to Huawei 40W charging (Mate 20 Pro’s 4200mAh can be charged within an hour). However, it’s a nice attempt from Vivo on a large battery.
