Ending the Vivo X27 review, the company again continues the appearance over performance strategy for Vivo X27. Priced at 3198 yuan (476 USD), it sells premium features such as Multi-colored gradient color design with a streak pattern, a motorized front lifting camera, zero-bound full-screen display, on-screen fingerprint module. These are certainly improvements from the Vivo NEX.

Vivo seriously needs to move from appearance and  cool gimmicks to providing better price over performance ratio

The triple camera trend is also witnessed in the flagship along with the Type-C interface as Vivo’s first attempt. Last but not least, there’s the massive 4000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging.

[su_pullquote]We haven’t seen a good price-performance ratio flagship from Vivo and this one is no exception. Purely appearance over performance[/su_pullquote]

Vivo slightly compromises with the performance by introducing the two years old Snapdragon 710 in a $450+ priced smartphone. To be honest, Mi 9 is a better option with SD 855 and a few bucks lesser the price. The appearance and front lifting camera gimmick might not be there but there will be 2x the performance, MIUI 10, and better camera.
