For starters, all these models are products of the Xiaomi company, so, like all products of the same brand, they present a refined and minimalist style. However, those that perform better visual characteristics are the A1 and A1 Pro, since they are constructed with aluminum alloy, with an IML injection molding, which gives it a more premium look to its finish, which presents a small difference, the A1 is a gray tone, while the A1 Pro has a more modern black color. On the other hand. the assembled body built and shell cover of C1 is built from ABS plastic, which effectively reduces its weight, also has a silver color.

Now, once mounted on the tape we will notice some slight differences and this is that the one that has the C1 is made of aluminum alloy, thanks to this it allows it to be more resistant and durable, as to load up to 110 kg of weight without suffering any damage to its structure, coupled with this and like the other two products of this comparison, the C1 has different layers that will help with grip, easy walking, and comfort when using. For its part, in terms of weight capacity, the A1 can only load 90 Kg and the A1 Pro can with about 100 Kg, thus highlighting one of its few differences, but returning to aspects that these two products have in common we can emphasize that their surfaces are made with high-density fibreboard, making them more receptive when starting our routine.

Last but not least, we will analyze its compactability which is one of its most striking aspects. Well, to start we will have to investigate its dimensions and weight, for this we will start with the A1 and its Pro version, since both have the same design, these have a size of 143.2 x 54.7 x 12.9 cm and a weight of 28 Kg, This option makes it more striking to the public because the running belt is wider and more comfortable to use. In the case of C1, it has dimensions of 144.9 x 52.8 x 11.4 cm and a weight of 22 Kg, making it slightly narrower and also lighter, all without affecting its maximum speed.

The 3 machines can be turned on and off using the sensor on the treadmills or with the remote control. You can also use the remote control to adjust the pace of your workout. Alternatively, you can rely on the integrated sensors of the treadmill to adjust the speed of your training session automatically: to start we just have to start in the middle, run closer to the front of the platform to increase the speed and get closer in the end to decrease it. In automatic mode, you can also turn on the walking platform by stepping on it and turn off the platform by simply lowering it. If you choose to exercise in automatic mode, you will not need the remote control at all, but the company insists that you continue to use the remote control or have it nearby for security reasons.

Our verdict

Between Xiaomi WalkingPad A1 vs A1 Pro vs C1, any of these devices is a good investment if you want to stay in shape, but your agenda does not allow you to go to a gym, and in turn, they are perfect if your home space is reduced. Therefore, these machines are designed for anyone to use, if you are a beginner or high-performance athlete, these treadmills have a program that fits your needs. However, we have to choose a winner for this comparison, therefore, despite having many similarities the winner is the Xiaomi C1. This is because it is more compact although, for just a little, it has more refined operability and has a control to check our statistics regarding physical activities we do. It has everything you need!

Overall Winner: Xiaomi C1

  1. Would you know if the optional handrail for the A1 Pro is also compatible with the A1? Considering that the dimensions of both models are generally the same.

    1. I think it will be compatible since the handrail doesn’t need to be completely attached on it. You just have to put the walking pad on it. Though I haven’t tried this. You can ask the sellers about it. I have provided links to different sellers in the article.

    1. Hi Francisco!
Yes, it’s true that the motor can break if it’s a less than 1 HP treadmill. That is why most of the treadmills you see have a weight light and a specific speed range. The weight limit of Xiaomi WalkingPad C1 is around 90kg (written on the box) while most suppliers say it’s around 110 kg. So, just to be on the safe side, if you are under 90kg, there won’t be a problem. If there’s an individual with a weight over 100kg he/she should go for a treadmill more than 1hp. There’s a new 1.5HP Portable treadmill released by Huami(sub-brand of Xiaomi) a couple of days back. You can read about it here: https://www.thephonetalks.com/huami-amazfit-airrun-review-is-it-better-than-xiaomi-walkingpad/
It will be available soon for international purchases.
